~Jude~

Oak, Orianna, and Madoc start getting ready to leave since Oak is tired and wants to sleep. Orianna and Oak leave but Madoc stays behind to help clean up, Im washing dishes and Madoc comes over with some forks.

"So, you actually got him to love you." Madoc says.

"No he always has, its kinda freaky because I forgot you guys cant lie. And so when he says these things I feel resassured because he cant lie, thats the one reason I like being mortal." I say, he scoffs.

"Nothings good about being a mortal, only reason why us Folk kept marrying mortals was for kids. But your mom, she was something else, she glowed. You got that from her, dont telk your sisters, but you remind me most of her." He says.

"Really? I do?" I ask.

"Yeah, you both are beautiful strong willed women, whose lives were full. I never glamoured her, because I was worried she'd leave me. But when she left I cried, I cried till I got a tip on her being married with 3 kids, so I showed up. And thats when you answered the door, you looked like your mom." He says, taking a shakey breath, "I didn't want her to die, I escpeically didnt want you to watch. I saw Eva in you, all of you. But mainly in you." That was the first ever time Ive heard my moms name out of his mouth.
"When I watched you bleed out in the snow it reminded me of watching your mother Eva bleed out on the carpet. I didn't want you, my sweet daughter Jude to die, it doesnt matter what anyone says, what you say or think. But you'll always be my daughter, and my favorite daughter at that." He says

"What about Taryn? She never betrayed you, she got you the crown." I say.

"Taryn, she knew Ive had you as a favorite, and she was jealous. So she listened to me, and did everything I said. But she never bested me, she didnt posion both the drinks and contiuned to drink her posioned drink after. She didn't marry the High King, and she didn't save all of Faerie." Madoc says. "If you shall ever need me, just call, or write. And I'll be there in a instant." He says again, he takes my hand and kisses it before walking away and heading to the front door.

"What was that all about?" Cardan asks while coming over and planting a kiss on my cheek.

"He was telling me that I reminded him of my mother." I say while turning to look at him.

"You will always be the bravest Duarte sister." Cardan says while kissing my other cheek. "But your not a Duarte anymore." He mutters into my ear.

"What am I?" I ask quietly.

"Your my wife, a Greenbriar, Jude Greenbriar." He mumbles while kissing my mouth, his mouth fumbles to fit with mine. His teeth scrape against my lips. I almost forget we are in the kitchen until he lifts me up and puts my on the counter. He steps in between my legs as we contiune to kiss. His tounge break through into my mouth, our kiss starts to get sloppy as it gets faster.

My hands reach up and I grab is hair. His hand travels along my waist, lightly touching me. His one hand cups my cheek as the other is exploring around my body.

I just want to stay here kissing him forever. He makes me feel like no other, like I am the one and only in his life. Our kiss feels like bliss, and as he pulls away our eyes meet and I pull him in again.

Its not until a cough interupts us is when I snap back into reality, Vivi and Heather are standing in the kitchen, Cardan steps away and I hope off the counter.

"Remember no PDA in the kitchen." Vivi says. I laugh.
