Kyo woke up that morning with the bed empty of her mate. She didn't worry though as she could feel her presence close by. She got out of the bed and first checked inside the omega's nest to find it empty, so she exited the room looking for her wife. She looked through all the rooms until she was able to find her laying in Eijiro's nest with him. She was laid down on her back as the boy has dug as much as he could into her side as he slept peacefully, although Kyo did take notice of Eijiro's redness around his eyes that appears when he cried.

Ura turned and looked at Kyo with a sad expression as she held her son tightly. No words were needed to be said as Kyo already knew what had happened. Her heart broke as they thought the nightmare had finally stopped due to him not having one for about two weeks now. Kyo just rubbed her hand along her sons tear stained face and sighed. "I'll go to town and get some things to make breakfast." She whispered and Ura nodded at her. Kyo placed a soft kiss on her forehead before leaving the room to get ready.

Ura laid there with her son as he snored lightly. She blamed herself for the whole issue that they are in now. Eijiro shouldn't be terrorized by his dreams by his dreams due to a poor choice she made. "I won't let anyone hurt you again." She whispered kissing the scared left ear on the boy's head. He groaned and dug himself more into his mother's side.

-_-_-_-_-_-

Later that morning after Kyo had make pancaked and bacon she went back into her son's room to find that the two had swapped positions. Eijiro now laid awake holding his mother who slept close to him. The dark circled under her eyes show that she didn't sleep that night after they had gotten into the nest. Kyo knocked softly and Eijiro was quick to look up at her with new tears in his eyes. "I hurt her." He looked at his mother with eyes pleading for some form of help.

"What do you mean baby?" She asked crouching outside of the next.  Eijiro softly picked up his mother's arm that he grabbed last night and a dark purple bruise in the shape of a hand decorated her wrist. "Baby." Kyo whispered but couldn't get and more out before Eijiro moved her neck slowly to show the handprint that was a light brown on her neck.

"I-" His voice broke with a sob, "I didn't mean to hurt her. Mom, you have to believe me." He was begging for his mother's forgiveness like a child who broke a vase.

"Honey I know you didn't mean to," She spoke softly holding her hand over top of his shaking one, "And I know that she knows you didn't mean to. You was just trying to protect yourself and that is okay."

The boy shook as another sob broke out, "I just want things to go back to how that was."

"I know honey and one day they will." Kyo hoped she was telling her son the truth. "Lets get her to bed and go eat some breakfast. Is that okay?" Eijiro nodded not being able to form any words. Kyo gently took her from his arms and held her body close to her own and Eijiro slowly crawled out of the nest as well. He followed his mothers like a puppy and soon Kyo and Eijiro were sitting at the table with food in front of them both.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Kyo asked softly and he was quick to shake his head no. He didn't want to relive the dream again.

"I can't believe I hurt her." He whispered looking at his hands like he has just committed a murder.

"Baby," Kyo took one of his hands in hers, "We all know you would never intentionally hurt anyone. Especially your pack." He placed his hands over his face and sighed heavily, Kyo couldn't do anything other then try to comfort her child. She knew that until Ura came and told him herself that it was basically in through one ear and out the other. "Come on your food is getting cold." Kyo tries to take his mind off the situation. He slowly reaches down and take a strip of bacon and starts to eat it, followed by his pancakes.

As the morning continued, he slowly started to get out of his head and enjoy the day. He helped Kyo with unpacking things. Putting items where they would belong and arranging the furniture where it needed to go. The two was able to get the T.V. stand up in the living room and the T.V. hooked up as well. She was glad she was able to distract his mind from the events that night.

"What are you feeling for lunch?" Kyo called from the kitchen as Eijiro finished putting together the coffee table.

"Do we have anything to make?" He asked walking into the kitchen with her.

"Well I got a few things this morning, but we still need to go do a full grocery shopping trip. I got come chicken we can make up or some ramen." She answered.

"How about some ramen and we can sit down and watch a cheese comedy like old time." He smiled.

It warmed Kyo's heart to see the true smile again after the events that had happened. "Sounds like a plan to me. Go find a movie I'll cook." Kyo shined one back at him.

The boy nodded and made his way back to the living room and dropped down onto the floor looking through their massive amounts of movies trying to find a good one to put on. After searching for a few minutes, he finally found one and not soon after Kyo walked in with two hot bowls of ramen. "Find one?" She asked sitting on the sofa.

"Yep." He popped the 'p' and slid the disk into the movie player.

Ura woke from her sleep and found herself in her bed instead of in a nest with her son making her go into a panic. She quickly jumped from her bed and ran out of her room in search of her son. She found him in the living room laughing at a movie with Kyo and Ura instantly bolted to her son, hugging him around his neck from the back.

"Oh Ei." She whispered.

Eijiro froze and tossed his hands up in the air. "M-Momma?" He responds.

"Yes baby it's me." She nuzzled into his neck.

"Honey why do you have your hands up?" Kyo asked.

"I can't hurt her again." He whispered with a tear sliding down his cheek.

"Sweetie you didn't hurt me." Ura never noticed the bruising on her body. Instead of talking to his back Ura came around and stood in front of Eijiro.

"I did hurt you." Eijiro softly gestured to her arm.

"Baby I'm fine." She smiled after seeing the mark.

"Your neck also." Eijiro tucked his hands close to his body; still refusing to return a touch.

"Ei baby," Ura grabbed his hands and placed them on her cheeks, "Nothing you could do would ever hurt me. As long as you are safe and happy that's all that matters to me."

Eijiro had started to cry and soon found himself wrapping his around his mother's waist and clutching on to her tightly. "I promise I won't do it again."

She didn't say anymore but instead she just rand one hand of fingers through his hair while the other scratched at his back. Kyo smiled at her little family and she agreed with what Eijiro had stated before. Small? Yes. A little broken? Also yes. But it's perfect.
