Eijiro ended up eating dinner with the family that night, and he actually got to see the softer side of Katsuki as he goofed around with his family at the dinner table. He did end up getting a chewing out from his own parents for missing school, Denki ended up spilling the beans, but they told their sons to have a fun time because when he would get home they would talk more about it.

"So, are your parents really upset?" Katsuki asked as they cleaned dishes.

"Yea, they are," Eijiro smiled, "But I completely understand where they are coming from with it. If I had a kid and they did that, I'd be a little mad myself."

"Yea, I get that." Katsuki mumbled.

"I had fun today, though." Eijiro tried to keep a blush from showing, "Seeing the real you was fun."

"The real me?" Katsuki questions.

"Yea the goofy side. I've realized your tough guy is just an act. You care deeply about your family and friends." Eijiro scrubbed at a plate.

"Shut up." Katsuki looked down as he smiled a little bit. Maybe it will work out.

"Katsuki!" Mitsuki yelled through the house.

"I'll be back." Katsuki dried his hands off with a towel and took off to his mom. After a couple minutes, he made his way back to the kitchen. "Do you have to be home at a certain time?" He leaned again the counter.

"Not that I know of?" Eijiro finished cleaning the last plate before handing it over to Katsuki. "What's up?"

"I'm gonna go see a friend of mine," He grabbed the plate and washed it off, setting it on a drying rack, "Wanna come?"

"Sure." Eijiro smiled at him.

-_-_-_-_-

They walked down the road about 3 houses from Katsuki's before coming up to a small, simple home. It was a single story and red bricks was used to hold up the home. Katsuki knocked on the door and a lady could he heard inside. Telling them to come in.

Katsuki was the first to walk in with Eijiro following. "I'm here Auntie!" Katsuki yelled from the entryway as they both took off their shoes.

"I'm in the kitchen!" She called back.

"Come on," Katsuki had a genuine smile like he did at dinner, "She doesn't bite."

Eijiro followed him through the house with one question on his mind. Why were there no pictures on the wall?the turned the corner and there stood a short woman with emerald green hair. "Who is your friend?" She asked giving Katsuki a hug.

"This is Eijiro." Katsuki introduced him, "Eijiro, this is Inko."

Suddenly, the picture of the green hair boy flashed in his mind. His stomach turned in knots. "Hi." He weakly smiled.

"Well Mitsuki told me you had dinner already but I wanted to give you some brownies I made." She held up a plate that was wrapped up.

Katsuki toold the plate, "You didn't have to."

"I wanted to. I still haven't adjusted to only cooking for one. It's been hard since Iz- he left." She paused on a word.

"We told you that you could always move in with us." Katsuki told her. Trying not to react to the name.

"Oh I couldn't do that to you and your parents," She smiled, "They already bought me the house."

"Well, I do hate to cut it short but he has to get home." Katsuki seemed sad, "If you need anything just call okay?"

"I will, honey." She gave him another hug.

The two boys walked back over to the front door and they put their shoes on. "Who is she?" Eijiro asked once they was outside, "You didn't look related."

"That is Inko," He sighed, holding the plate of brownies, "She is the mother to Izuku."

"Who is Izuku?" Eijiro asked and Katsuki instantly tensed up, "You don't have to answer that."

"If your going to be around you should know." Katsuki stopped in his tracks, Eijiro with him, "Izuku is, was a childhood friend I grew up with. He was the omega who left me."

Eijiro seemed to freeze in place. His breathing as well. "Are you?"

Katsuki seemed to know where this is going. "No I'm not in contact with him any more," He could finally say those words and not feel hurt, "Only with his mom. He didn't just leave me. He left her too. He left her alone, struggling to pay bills on a house he invited her to live in."

Eijiro to tell just by looking at the alpha the memories made him pissed. "So me and my family got her out of that crummy apartment and got her a home down the street from us." His free hand was balled into a fist at his side.

Eijiro understood the relationship between the two now. He grabbed Katsuki's fist and held it in both his hands. "I'm glad she has someone to depend on." He gave a smile.

Katsuki seemed to relax as his hand let loose from the fist. Eijiro let go of the hand to continue walking. The two started back walking but they didn't get far before Katsuki took hold of Eijiro's hand. The fingers wasn't laced together but Katsuki did hold his hand. He knows he hasn't known the guy long but he could already feel a spark.

Once back home, Katsuki opened the door, pulling Eijiro behind him, refusing to let go. "Inko sent brownies!" He announced as they got into the kitchen.

He didn't wait for a reply before he pulled Eijiro up to his room. When they were inside, Katsuki shut the door and took a couple of deep breaths before he turned to look at a confused Eijiro. "Everything okay?" He asked.

"Do you like guys?" Katsuki quickly asked to fast were Eijiro couldn't understand the question.

"What?" Eijiro asked a little confused.

"Do you like men." Katsuki slowed his tone. "You know dick?"

"That's kind of a blunt way to ask." Eijiro sat down on the bed.

"Just answer the question!" Katsuki's voice hissed even tho he didn't mean it to.

"Yea I'm attracted to men." Eijiro looked like a doe caught in headlights.

Katsuki walked over to the omega and stood in front of him, trapping one of Eijiro's legs between his own. "Would you give me a chance?" Katsuki's question was just a whisper.

"Didn't you say you didn't trust me yet?" Eijiro tilted his head some.

"Things have changed." Katsuki answered.

"How?" Eijiro questions.

"I can't." Katsuki stops his sentence short.

"Can't what?" Eijiro wondered.

"I," He starts, "My alpha. He. Striked a claim."
