"Okay, so mom said she saw him here." He looked around at the market, "Why would he be two towns away, though?"
After the conversation with his mom, Katsuki raced to the small market to try and find the red head. He had been coming to this exact spot for almost two weeks now. Katsuki knew what happened, at least from Denki's point of view. This Rin guy came in, the group assuming he was the one who tried to force a rut on Eijiro and basically scared Eijiro into doing whatever the other told him. Katsuki didn't like that.
He knew Eijiro heat was coming up soon, so he needed to find the omega so he could go home to his nest. "Where are you?" Katsuki walked out the doors and looked around outside. He noticed four hotels surrounded the market, all within walking distance. There were two that were high-class hotels, one that was about a middle class, and one that looked like it was going to cave in on itself.
He didn't believe they would be in one of the fancy ones, so Katsuki rules the two out. His focus left on the last two. Now, he just needed to decide which one to check first. Deciding on the middle class one, he got in his car and took off towards it. He pulled into the parking lot and stepped out.
Nothing important stuck out to the alpha to make him believe the omega was here. He even looked around at the vehicles to see if he could spot the car that denki decided, a yellow sports car. One that would be easy to spot. Unfortunately, the car was not in the parking lot.
Not being one to give up, Katsuki walked into the hotel and up to the reception desk. A lady sat in a rolling chair behind it. Her brown hair put up into a tight bun, and what looked like a grey pencil suit was what she wore.
"Can I help you, sir?" She spoke gently as a smile formed on her soft face.
"I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a room booked under either Rin or Eijiro?" Katsuki placed his palms on the marble countertop.
"I'm sorry, sir, but it's against company policy for us to release customer information." Her voice stayed calm.
Katsuki got angry at this, but he had to keep his composure. "The funny story is," He came up with a lie, "Rin is actually my brother, his middle name being Eijiro. He has some brain issues. Him and my parents got into a fight and has a tendency to run off. He can't be left alone due to his health, and he won't pick up his phone when we try to call."
"I'm so sorry to hear that, sir," worry stretched her face, "Give me just a second to look at the check-ins." It went quite for a moment, the only noise coming from the clicking of her mouse. "It doesn't seem like we have anyone under either of those names." Her eyebrows furrowed.
"It's okay. I'll check one of the other ones," Katsuki smiled at her, "Thank you for the help."
"I hope you find your brother!" She called out at the blonde, exiting the building.
Once outside, Katsuki snarled in anger. "Where are you at you piece of shit!" He jumped into his car, heading towards the run-down motel.
He did the same examination of the parking lot for the car but still saw nothing. Deciding to head inside, ready to tell the same lie. Unlike the other, this motel didn't have everything inside one building but instead the office was in its own room then you had to walk outside to find your room, walking up the stairs if needed. It was a two story motel.
As soon as the alpha walked inside, a roach scattered across the floor, making Katsuki shiver at the sight. He prayed the bastard had better sense than to bring his omega to this hell hole. Behind the counter, a woman sat in a chair that looked as if it could break at any moment. She was laid back in it with her feet propped across from her on the desk. Her blonde hair matted around her shoulders she wore ripped jeans and some random band tee-shir. She scrolled her phone as she smacked on gum.
"I'm looking to see if someone checked in under the name Rin or Eijiro." Katsuki wouldn't even put his hands on the counter, worried of if it had ever been clean.
"Not here." She blew a bubble in the pink gum. She never even put her phone down to look.
"If you don't look at that fucking computer and tell me!" Katsuki's anger is getting the better of him.
The girl dropped her phone in fear as she looked at the alpha. She didn't need pheromones to understand that she couldn't just brush the man off. She quickly adjusted straight to look at the computer. Some key taps and clicking filled the now silent room.
"I'm sorry, sir, but no." She cowered at the alpha.
Katsuki growled and stomped out of the office. The sky was slowly darkening as the cold wind niped his body. He pulled the jacket tighter around himself. He pulled out his phone and saw it read six pm.
"Fuck." He muttered sliding into his car. He started the engine and turned the heat on full blast. He had to be at work at seven, so unfortunately, he had to call his search done for the day. Angrily, he pulled out of the cracked parking lot and headed back to his town.
