Denki never expected that after the small confrontation that went of the two would ever be real good friends but before he knew it both omega and alpha were sitting on the floor playing an extreme competition of Mario cart off the switch that was hooked up to the T.V. the two had been playing the game for a while, and right now, there was an even score of four wins each. The two were completely competitive with each other on who could get five first.

Denki sat on the bed as he watched the two in amusement giggling at the empty insults they threw at each other. It was rare that his mate made friends. Hell, getting him to hang out with the gang was a chore in its own, but the fastest way to his friendship had always been video games. When Hitoshi was adopted by his parents he has now he was very closed off and his father, Shota Aizawa, was able to get him to open up through games; they now hold a special place in his heart.

"Watch where you're driving nitwit." Eijiro elbows Hitoshi's arm, making him mess up slightly and spinning on a banana peel.

"Oh, can it asshole." Hitoshi shot back as he got his character back under control.

Denkis phone chimed as it lit up, a message from Mitsuki; Katsuki's mom. I'd love to meet the little bug! Bring him over any time! It read.

Denki kept his promise to Ura about trying to get Eijiro to meet with the feisty omega so maybe he would be able to be more comfortable with who he was.

His mom is in a rut right now, so it may be later. I'm sure they would want to meet you also. It would have to be after it's done.

Fine with me. Give them my number if they want it.

Mitsuki was a kind person, but most people saw it as he was an ass. In reality, she just has a hard time expressing her emotions clearly, so most just take it as her trying to be something she isn't.

He went back to giving his attention to the T.V. screen only to watch as Eijiro's character passed over the finish line just a second before Hitoshi could. "Ha, I win!" Eijiro through his hands up in victory as he did a small victory dance.

"You won because I let you win." Hitoshi sulked in his loss.

"In your dreams, man." Eijiro gave him a smile.

"Babe, are you ok?" Hitoshi placed his hand on the knee of a zoned out Denki.

"Oh yea, I'm fine," Denki smiled at him, "Just glad you're making friends."

"You don't have any friends." A redhead turned his head in confusion.

"He hangs out with me and the gang, but he has never been real good at making real good friends on his own." Denkis explains, "Usually, he doesn't talk to many, but you found the key to his heart; video games."

"Well, I'm glad I could be your first friend." Eijiro smiled softly at the man.

"Oh hush," Hitoshi turned his blushing face away from the omega eyes that looked at him, "It's not a big deal anyway."

"Wanna go for another round?" Eijiro shook the controller in his hand.

"You're on!" Hitoshi shot back up quickly, getting comfortable in his spot again, "Last to ten has to buy dinner!"

Denki giggled at the competitiveness between the two. As the blonde sat there, he couldn't help but wonder what the gang would think of his new friend. Mina and Sero would like him, Denki knew that for a fact, but it was Katsuki he couldn't place how he would feel. The friend definitely lived up to the name of an alpha. He could be extremely stubborn and hard-headed. He challenged anyone he thought was looking down at him, and he hated those who he thought were showing him and sign of pity towards him. He hated to show weakness and was always ready for a fight. He got a lot of the strong willed from his mother.

"I win fucker!" Hitoshi cheered turning to his mate on the bed but was met with a peacefully asleep Denki.

"He must have passed out not long after we started again." Eijiro turned around also.

"He hasn't been sleeping real good." Hitoshi spoke softly, sliding some hair away that fell over the blondes face.

"How come?" Eijiro wondered if he could help with anything.

"He has anxiety real bad, and something has been bothering him. He hasn't told me what it is, so unfortunately, I don't know myself." Hitoshi answered, sounding defeated, "Have you ever had a friend or lover that shut down?"

"Um, no, actually," Eijiro looked down at the floor with a sad expression, "Denki is actually my first friend I've made."

The purple haired sighed, no knowing if he would be able to figure out what's going on, "You know you'd never guess it but he actually isn't the best at making friends." Hitoshi grabbed the red head's attention with those words. "Back when we were still pups before we mated, he had no friends and that includes me. Back then we had never even spoken to eachother."

"There is no way. He is the friendliest guy I've ever met." Eijiro was truly shocked.

"Back when him and his family first moved into town he was a very shut off kid. Before he moved here, he, his mother, and father lived with their grandparents and his grandfather hated that Denki had come out being a beta. His family has a long line of always producing alpha males and Denki was the one who broke that streak. For the longest time his grandfather raised him to act like an alpha even though he knew that wasn't his grandson. On top of that, he came after his mother to producing something that wasn't alpha."

"That's not right." Eijiro mumbled to himself.

"Both his parents decided it was best for Denki if they moved away and they ended up in this town." Hitoshi continued, "When he first got here he was shy and timid like a kitten who was left out on the street it's whole life. I guess in a way he kind of is." Eijiro could see the love the alpha had for the beta as he softly petted his head as he slept. The blonde nuzzled into the hand as he slept. "It took a few years but eventually we became friends and it just progressed from there."

Eijiro was shocked to have learned that the ball of sunshine he had known from his first day was treated the way he was. "I would have never guessed."

"It's why he is so strong-willed about never looking down on the others. He wants everyone to be treated the way they deserve. He gets at Bakugo about it constantly." A chuckle. "Ever sense you came to town it's like something has changed in him again. He is going back into his mother hen stage, trying to protect you. I guess it is an easy way to say it."

"Why me?" Eijiro questions.

"You tell me." Hitoshi turned to look at the omega, "He has a strong sense when it comes to people. It's like he knows when someone has been hurt in the past and he goes into a protective mode. Open up to him when you're ready. I promise he is more understanding than you could ever imagine."

I told you everyone in this town is misfits in their own way. Denki's words sang through Eijiro's head.
