In this apocalyptic world, it's been almost a day since Shuichi, Maki, and Kaito have teamed up with Kokichi. Well, it's been almost a day since they met him and he attached himself to their group. During dinner, over a can of ravioli of all things, Kokichi becomes a little too annoying and is told to get out. Grinning, he leaves... but he does forget his ravioli.

Or~ Kokichi is quite annoying, and is told to get out. Shuichi chases after him, while trying to convince himself it's only to give Kokichi his ravioli

Prompt : Apocalypse

It's been almost a day since Shuichi met Kokichi. Or, more accurately, since Maki suddenly grabbed him from out of the bushes and demanded he explain himself. At least that explained why Shuichi had constantly felt like he was being watched, and why Kaito kept hearing laughter whenever he tripped over - even when, supposedly, no-one was around. Shuichi isn't entirely sure how long Kokichi's been watching them. He estimates it's probably only been three or four days. That was when the laughing started, afterall.

Despite being almost strangled earlier, Kokichi is still strangely cheerful. In fact, it should be strangely cheerful in general. Other than when he started to obnoxiously cry (Shuichi wouldn't 'kiss his neck better') Kokichi had been smiling the entire time. There always seemed to be something making him smile, and he was walking with a small skip in his step. When Shuichi was watching Kokichi, he could almost forget the apocalypse existed. Although that might not have just been Kokichi's attitude that did it...

Currently, Kaito was trying to start a fire with the flint and steel they'd been carrying. Afterall, the empty shell of a building should conceal them well enough - and their provisions always tasted better cooked. A small argument had broken out between everyone at one point; Maki had said they shouldn't give Kokichi any food, but Kaito and Shuichi had argued against her. In the end, Kokichi had suddenly produced a can of pumpkin ravioli.

Suddenly there was a spark, and Kaito let out a cheer of appreciation as the fire started, "Well done Maki roll!"

"It's nothing, and quit calling me that."

"Awww, c'mon," Kaito let himself smile, before holding out their food as an apology offering. Used to the conversations the two of them would have, Shuichi found himself turning around to let Kokichi know what was happening. To his surprise, he saw Kokichi already sitting down (cross-legged) with the can of ravioli open, eating it with the most fancily decorated fork Shuichi had ever seen.

"Are you..." Shuichi stared briefly at the can, "We have fire Kokichi, you don't need to eat your ravioli cold."

"Oh, I know," Kokichi grinned, "This is already heated up!"

"But..." Shuichi turned around to check the fire Maki had just made, "The fire's only just been made?"

"Your fire's only just been made," Kokichi corrected, pointing at Shuichi with the fork, "But I am incredible, so I can just make food hot on command."

"Sure..." said Shuichi sceptically, now looking at the can, "Is that even heated?"

"You really think I'm a liar? I hate liars y'know!" Kokichi began to shuffle up closer to Shuichi, "Open your mouth."

"E-Excuse me?"

"I'm going to feed you ravioli, duh," Kokichi moved even closer, holding up the fork with a hint of menace, "To prove I'm not lying!"

There was a second or two as Shuichi contemplated whether or not to do it, but eventually he leaned in slightly, biting the ravioli. It was surprisingly nice, even though he didn't incredibly like the taste of pumpkin, but it was also definitely warm. Frowning as he chewed, Shuichi swallowed before asking, "How did you even manage to heat this?"
