Ambers POV

"I HATE YOU SO MUCH! Don't ever fucking touch me again, or mom! Just get out of my life already!" I screamed at my so called "dad". I stormed out of the house and went to the park. It was 12:00 at night so no one should be there. My dad is so ignorant. He comes home every night drunk and try's to take advantage of me and my mom. He also likes to criticize me. To him in a waste of space. To him, I am a failure. Well I've had enough of him. My mom finally kicked him out. I hope I never see his ass again. I get to the park and sit against my favorite tree. It's all by itself. In the middle of the park. Maybe that's why I like it so much. It reminds me of myself. Alone, in the middle of everything, yet no one seems to notice me. By this time I have been crying almost hysterically. I try to calm down and control my breathing when I here footsteps.
"Uhm hey.. I heard you crying.. I just wanted to come to see if your okay.." A boy said. He had beautiful brown hair and chocolate brown eyes.
"Uhm.. Yeah i-im okay.."
"I know your not okay.. I'm not stupid. Want to talk about it?" He asked taking my hand so I can stand up. "My names Tyler, Tyler Joseph by the way"
"Amber star." I say looking at the floor, " and I don't really want to talk about it.. Just family issues.."
"Well whatever it is, you can always talk to me. Even though I don't know you, I still care." Tyler said as he pulls me into the biggest hug.
I really needed that.
He gave me his phone number, and made me promise him I would talk to him if anything was wrong. I gave him mine too.
He was so sweet. I just met him and it already seems like he cares more about me than the people I've known my whole life.
"I have to get going, my mom is waiting for me.. Nice meeting you Amber, text me okay?" He says, starting to walk away.
I want him to stay.
"Oh..okay. See you around, and yeah I will text you" I said quietly
My phone starts ringing, it's my mom.
"Sweety, please come home. I'm worried about you. Don't worry about your dad.. He's gone.."
"Okay mom, I'm on my way" I tell her.
When I get home I give my mom a hug.
"I love you mom. You deserve so much more than him."
"I love you too sweety,now try to go to bed.. It's almost 2 and it's been a long night. Goodnight"
I walk up stairs to my room and throw on my Uncles old plaid shirt and shorts. I miss him so much.. Tonight was weird. I would text Tyler but I'm to tired. Maybe in the morning.
