Chapter 4

Okay guys I'm really sorry I haven't written anything in like forever. I kinda have up on this because I didn't think it was doing good and I don't really know where I'm going with this story. But I guess I'll try again. I'm sorry.

- 1 week later -
I wake up to my phone buzzing like crazy.
"Hello" I say quietly and tiredly.
"Hey amber! Did I wake you up? Oh my gosh I'm so sorry. I call back later if you want. I'm sorry " it's Tyler.
"No no Tyler it's fine. Seeing that it's almost 11:00 I should probably get up. So what's up?"
"Nothing really I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today with me and my friend josh. I have some news that I want to tell you." He says sounding pretty excited.
"Uhm yeah sure. I don't think I'm doing anything today so why not?"
"Okay great. Is it okay if I pick you up at around 4:00? Then we can go to his house. Oh and Josh really wants to meet you. I think you guys will get along."
"Yeah that's fine Tyler." I say laughing at how he can get happy over little things. "And I'd like to meet him too. He seems pretty chill" i say trying to act cool.
Tyler laughs at my stupidness
"Just get up and get ready loser. I'll be there soon"
And he hung up.
Since I have a few hours until Tyler gets here i decide to watch some tv. I set an alarm for 2:30 so I can  start getting ready. Since there was really nothing on I was scrolling through tumblr and casually reposting band post. I decide to go make some food since I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday. I decide to warm up a blueberry muffin my mom made this morning. I haven't seen her in a while. Ever since She kicked my dad out she's been working longer shifts at work. She's gone before a wake up and when she comes home she goes straight to sleep.
Once my alarm goes off I throw away my garbage and grab a towel to hop in the shower. I turn on the water and as I wait for the water to get warm i stare at myself in the mirror. I trace over some of my scares lightly with my finger. I have been clean for almost a week now and honestly I think it's because of Tyler. I have definitely have had the urge but I held back. I've texted Tyler a few times when I felt like it. He would sing to me until I feel better and he would talk to me and help me try to realize life will get better. I hope he's right... He's really great.
I get out of the shower and blow dry my hair so that it's straight. I but on a red v-neck shirt with black ripped skinny jeans and my black vans. I put some eye liner on and some mascara.
Since I'm ready a little early I lay on the couch scrolling though tublr until I hear the door bell ring.
"Coming!"
I tell as a take my time coming to the door.
"Slowpoke. Now let's go!"
Tyler says when I open the door as he grabs my wrist and drags me into his car.
"So how far away if Josh's house?" I ask while plugging my phone to the aux cord to play music.
"Oh yeah go ahead you can play your music" Tyler says  sarcastically " and only a few blocks from the park" he says with a laugh
"I was going to play my music either way loser" I said as I tried to pick a song. I decide to play "Get Me Out" by Falling In Reverse.
Me and Tyler started singing loud and dancing in our seats.

I walk around with headphones in
A hoodie on,
I'm trying to blend in
With all the other useless kids
That's how I've always been

I know one day I'll be
The king of the music scene
Like OMG

So what do you do when everyone fails you?
Am I just a stupid boy with nothing left to lose?
So sick and tired, no desire to stay in this town
So hopefully my hopes and dreams will get me out!!!!!

We arrive at Josh's house out of breath.  Tyler barges In saying "HONEY IM HOME" and jumps on the couch that Josh is laying on
"Well hi there Tyler" Josh said with a laugh.
"So um.. Should I leave you two alone here?" I say chuckling still standing at the door.
"OH. Josh this is Amber, Amber this is Josh" Tyler said introducing us.
"So your the famous Amber Tyler is ALWAYS talking about?" Josh said with a smile emphasizing on the "always"
Tyler started to turn red and Blush. 
"Yes I am, and you must be the best friend Tyler is ALWAYS talking about" i said giving him a hug.
" okay guys. What's the news you had to tell me?!" I said excited.
"Dude you haven't told her yet!?" Josh said playfully pushing Tyler.
"Well. No. I wanted to tell her with you."
"Awe how thoughtful of you. Now tell me, tell me, tell me !" I said acting like a little kid.
"Okay well you know how I have been busy the past couple weeks..?"
"Yeahhhh...." I said trying to get him to continue.
"And you know how me and josh really like music..?"
"Oh just tell her already Tyler!" Josh said chuckling trying to get Tyler to hurry.
"Well we have been busy because we started a band, and we have been playing a lot of local shows and people are really starting to like us I think. We have our biggest local show coming up and it's almost sold out! I was also wondering if you wanted to come?"
Tyler said really excited.
"OH MY GOSH IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS" I said hugging both of them. "And YES I'd love to come! What's your guys' band name?!" I said still excited.
" it's Twenty One Pilots " Josh said proudly.
"Ooo I like it. So what are we going to do today?
"WELL. I really kinda want to go ice skating." Josh said.
"I know where an ice rink is. Want to go?" Tyler said asking me.
"Uhm.. Sure.." I said a little uneasy. "But I don't really know how to skate"
" don't worry Tyler will be there to catch you if you fall" Josh said with a wink, nudging Tyler. He was blushing a lot, but it was really cute. He was playing with his bracelets. "Well then let's go!" I said grabbing Tyler's hand and pulling him into the car.
We get to the skating rink and put on our ice skates. Tyler keeps trying to do tricks on the skates but falls a few times and Josh has passed me up a lot already. I'm still holding onto the wall.
"Need help?" Tyler said, startling me so I fall in the ground.
"Tyler!! You scared me. And now but but hurts." I said trying to act mad, but I failed.
"I so sorry I didn't think you would fall. Common I'll help you. Just grab my hand" Tyler said sweetly. He helped me up and he was teaching me how to skate. I fell a couple more times bringing Tyler and Josh down with me. We were all laughing out asses off. I finally started to get the hang of it. Josh had gotten out because he was tired. Tyler and me were holding hands and he started dancing and tying to spin me. We finally got tired and decided to return our shoes and go home.
We were almost at Josh's house when a saw a Taco Bell.
"TYLERRRR!" I screamed.
"CAN WE PLEASE GET TACO BELL"
"YEAH Tyler go to Taco Bell!!" Josh said agreeing with me.
"Okay okay calm down I'm going" Tyler said laughing as me and Josh high fived at our accomplishment.
We are our food and then dropped Josh off at home. Tyler dropped me off and walked me to the door. I love the little things about him. How he opens the doors for me, or walks me to the door when he drops me off.
"Today was great Amber. I hope you had a good time. I'm glad you and Josh got along. Two of my favorite people." Tyler said smiling and I was trying not to blush.
"Yeah I had a lot of fun today. I gained a new friend and also a couple more bruises on my ass" I said laughing.
"Yeah. Well text me okay? I can't wait for you to see us live in a couple of days." Tyler said giving me a long hug. I love his hugs. We stayed there for alittle but until he finally let go.
"Goodnight Amber. Stay strong and stay alive okay?" Tyler said as he walked to his car.
" I will try.. But you too okay.? Text me if anything." And with that Tyler pulled out of my driveway. I  went inside and went into me moms room. I walked over to her bed and gently  pushed her hair out of her face.
"I missed you mom. I love you." I said as I kissed her.
I went into me room and threw on a lose shirt and jeans. I was scrolling though tumblr until I finally fell asleep

Guys just to make sure you guys understand, Tyler and Amber are NOT dating.. ;)
