"Good morning loser" I said to Tyler after I kissed him to wake him up.
"I like waking up like this" he said in his raspy voice. I slept in his bed last night.
"Me too" I said as I kissed him again.
I rolled back over and sighed.
"Yesterday was amazing." I smiled, remembering everything Tyler had done for me. I took a quick glance at the promise ring.
"I'm going to go take a quick shower." I said as I started to get up.
"No babe don't leave" Tyler pouted.
"Tyler it's not like I'm leaving forever." I laughed "I'm literally 20 feet away."
"Uuuuuuggggghhhhh" he remarked As I walked Into the shower. I looked at my phone to see grace had texted.
Grace: so how was last night? ;)
Me: photo message
Grace: OMFG OMFG HE PROPOSED
Me: it's a promise ring :) yesterday was beautiful. He's amazing.
I turned on the water and quickly got undressed. I took off my ring and set it on the sink so it wouldn't get ruined.

"So what would you like to do today?" He asked as he stuffed his face with cereal.
"We can just hangout or walk around. I want to go to Walgreens though if you dont mind. I want to visit Sarah." I said.
"Okay, she's been Missing you. She always asks about you" Tyler smiled.
"I've missed her too" I half smiled.
We finished up our breakfast and just relaxed on the couch for a while.
Ring ring ring
Hey josh! I said when Tyler answered the face time call.
Look!!!! He said as he shoved his new cats face into the camera.
She's so cute i smiled.
Tyler leaned in and whispered
Not as cute as you though
I laughed and josh interrupted-
"That was super cheesy but that's okay.
Well I just wanted you guys to see how cute she is. I mean, taking care of her isn't that bad. I just need a lot of air fresheners"Josh said which earned a laugh from all of us.
"Well maybe we will come visit you later? Well not you. The cat."I said as I smiled.
"Woooow Amber. Whatever. Just gunna use me like that. Kay. " Josh said all sassy.
"Yeah basically. Just kidding, you know I love youuuuu" I laughed.
"Whatever, I have to go. MY cat wants me to play with him. Byye" Josh waved.
After we hung up with Josh I but on some decent clothes, an oversize sweater with leggings and boots, and waiting for Tyler.
We left his apartment and walked to Walgreens since it was about a block away. I walked in to see an unfamiliar person working the counter.
"Hey I was just wondering if Sarah works today?"
"Yeah she does, she should be in at 9." The boy said.
I check my phone which read 8:52.
"Okay great, thank you" I said.
I told the employee,Xavier, how I used to work here and how I'm visiting. I saw Sarah's car pull up and ran behind the counter to pretend like I was working, while Tyler went to get a few energy drinks.
"Welcome to Walgreens" I smile.
"EEEEKkkkkk" Sarah screamed as she ran to me.
I hopped over the counter to hug her. We hugged for like 5 minutes.
"Damnit I missed you girly" she smiled.
"I missed you too!" I said
"How the hell have you been?" She asked, still clearly excited.
"I've been pretty good actually" I glanced down at the ring
"Oh my goodness it's beautiful!" She said as she took a ho of my hand.
"Yeah, it's a promise ring. He is an amazing guys."
"I always knew you guys would make it far.." Sarah smiled
Tyler walked to the counter to pay for our drinks. He payed and it was time to say goodbye.
"Bye Amber! Maybe I will come to Chicago to chill soon, I really missed you."
"I missed you too, and yeah that would be great!"
We hugged for a few minutes and I said goodbye to Xavier, and we left.
Tyler handed me my monster while he sipped his red bull.
"So would you like to go anywhere in particular?" He asked
"Not really, but I feel like we have been doing everything I wanted to do." I said with a half smile. "What would you like to do?"
"Well.. I've been saving up to get a new tattoo. Would you mind coming with me? I told my regular artist I would be coming soon, I could see if he has an opening?"
"That sound cool, let's go. Do you know what you want?"
"I think I have An idea. And it's a few blocks Away, we can walk it."
"Sounds like a plan." I smiled
We walked a few more blocks untill we reached the tattoo shop. It was nice walking with him. We talked about random things, the things we love, how we want our lives to turn out. It was nice.
"Heyy Tyler! Glad to see you here man."
"Hey joe! How have you been?" He asked the guy behind the counter.
"Pretty well, I'm guessing you came because your ready to get that tattoo?" Joe asked
"Yeah I was wondering if you had any open spots today?"
"Uuhhmmmmm," joe said flipping through some pages. " I'm all booked for today, and for a couple of days. But I can fit you in sometime next week. Maybe next Friday or something?"
"Yeah that's fine, thanks again."
"Yeah no problem. See ya" joe said as we walked out of the shop.
"Dang I was actually ready to get a new tattoo." Tyler said with a half smile.
"You only have to wait a week" I laughed. "You will survive"
