"Ready?" Tyler asks me as he grabs my hand in the car.
"Ready" I say smiling.
We start heading out to wherever we are going. Tyler says that it's about 2 1/2 hours away so that shouldn't be so bad.
"Do you want to stop and get something to eat?" He asks me, but still keeping his eyes on the road.
"No thanks. I'll be fine, but you can stop if your hungry" I answer.
"I'm fine I had sandwich" he said with a little laugh.
"Where's the aux cord?" I ask.
"I want to play my music." I said smiling.
"It's in the glove box." He answers.
I get the aux cord and start scrolling though my music.
To make Tyler happy, I decide on "Guns For Hands". Well not really. That's one of my favorite songs by them. It starts playing it and Tyler got a huge grin on his face.
"Have you heard this band? They are pretty sick. And I think I have a thing for the singer. He's really cute." I said, gesturing to the radio.
"I may have heard them before." Tyler says with a laugh. "You really like our music?" He asks, a little more serious.
"Dude yes! You guys have something special. Your sound is like nothing I have heard before, in a good way" I said with a little laugh, " and your lyrics. Tyler you write amazing songs. And I love how you talk about real life problems that people are going through. You guys will get far." I finish with a smile.
"Thanks amber. That means a lot. And thanks for being so supportive."
After like a half hour passes Tyler gets a text on his phone.
"Can you see who that is please?" He asks.
"Sure thangg" I say, being a little weird.
"Your so cute" he says smiling.
"It's Josh" i tell him. "He said some venue answered you back about playing there at the end of October and that they want you to play!" I said excited.
"Whoa really?!" He says excited.
"Yes Tyler! That's great! Oh he also texted again. He said that you guys have a show Friday night at a local club"
"Nice nice." He said still excited that the venue is letting them play in October.
Me and Tyler just continued to talk, about random things, life growing up, funny stories, and about what we are going to do when I move. I end up falling asleep after a little bit.
"Amber, wake up. We are here." Tyler says with a smile.
"Wher-where are we?" I say, still half asleep.
"Well we are at our hotel right now but all day tomorrow we will be at Cedar Point." Ty said, sounding really excited.
"Seriously Tyler?! I've always wanted to come here dude!" I said really excited.
"Common let's bring our bags inside and check in. Since we can't go to cedar point until tomorrow and it's getting alittle later, maybe we can get something to eat then just go swimming at the indoor water park?" He asks me.
"Sure! After we get our room and everything can we get Taco Bell? I haven't had it in forever." I asks Nicely.
"Dude you know I can never pass up Taco Bell! Tyler said excited.
Once Ty checked in and we got In our hotel room, we put away all of our clothes. I decided to change into a loose back shirt with a floral anchor on it and some red shorts over my plain black bathing suit. I throw my hair in a pony tail and wait for Tyler to get ready.
"Common Tyler, you take longer than I girl to get ready!" I said jokingly.
"I'm coming I'm coming" he said with a little laugh.
After we go and eat our Taco Bell we go back to the hotel and straight to the indoor waterpark. We find two chairs that aren't soaking wet and put our things on them. The first waterslide we decide to go on is the toilet bowl one. Once we get up there I sat in the front and Tyler in the back. Right in the beginning there was a huge drop that I was not expecting. I screamed so loud. When we were going in circles in the toilet bowl part I could hear Tyler laughing at me.
"Oh hush. I didn't know there was a drop!" I said laughing.
"Yeah mhm. I'm sure Amber." He said laughing. We finally exited the waterside and it went straight to the lazy river, but our tube flipped over and we got soaked.
Once we were both above water again we couldn't stop laughing. We then decided to race eachother on the body slides. We got up there and there were only two people infront of us so we got to race eachother.
"3, 2, 1, GO!" Tyler yells right before we go down.
I'm going down my slide and there's a lot of twist. I almost flipped over a couple times. The slide finally ends and I get into the regular water. I see no Tyler so it looks like a beat him! A few seconds later Tyler come out of the slide.
"HA! I beat you loser!!" I said, gloating
alittle bit.
"It's only because at this one part I flipped over and it like slowed me down when I was trying to flip back over!" He said laughing a little bit.
After trying out all the slides a few times, relaxing in the lazy river and hot tub, and taking a bunch of pictures with our underwater camera that we brought, it was getting late and we had to be up early tomorrow so we decided to go back to the hotel room.
I take a quick shower and throw on my pajamas and hop in bed. Tyler takes a shower after me so I decided to braid my hair for tomorrow and to look at all the pictures we took on the underwater camera. Tyler is so goofy. It's adorable. We already took almost 100 pictures. God I love this man.
Once Tyler is out of the shower he is wearing only boxers, and jumps in bed. We were laying there and I feel his arm lightly snake around my waist.
"Today was fun Tyler. I really can't wait for tomorrow. I can't believe you did all of this for me. For us." I said smiling.
"I love you."
"I love you too darling." He says. After a few minutes, "Goodnight babe" I hear Tyler whisper and he lightly kisses my forehead before I fall asleep.
