Two years later
2023 Max's third championship
I watched myself in the mirror as I put on my sports bra. My hair got messed up and I quickly ran a brush through it. When it was all fixed up I tied my hair and went outside. I managed to graduate for school, it was a difficult year, but I was now able to continu with my study I always wanted to follow. But my relationship with my father grew further apart, since he moved in with the 27 year old girl. And totally abandoned his old family, he didn't even congratulate me for my graduation even though I ignored it fully. So much had happened over these two past years, I sometimes even forgot how it was back then. I picked up my pace when I could run freely without having to look to my right and left to cross the street.
The sun reached it's highest point and I could feel it burn lightly on my skin. I ran passed some tourists who waved at me and I gave them a shy smile. 'Girl you need to hurry up!' A familiar voice shouted at me. 'God dammit Max.' I growled at him. He smirked as he started rubbing beside me. The two times world champion was challenging me? Max was really quick not only on the race track but also here. He was extraordinary. I tried to catch up with him but I decided to slow down and Max took this as a victory. 'See?' He laughed. I rolled with my eyes, when were finished with our session. Max took me to his apartment for some refreshments.
I jumped onto his couch and lid down, he returned with a smoothie. 'Hey! Keep your dirty Ass feet off my expensive calf leather couch.' He demanded. I lifted an eyebrow up and he sighed as he handed me the cup. 'So how's your study going?' He asked me as he sat next to me onto the couch. 'It's going great, It just a lot of economics.' I muttered. 'You're good at economics right?' He questioned. I nodded while I took a sip from the pink liquid. When I placed it down I had a pink moustache. 'I was good at mathematics, but this study doesn't require mathematics.' I replied to him.
Max looked at me confusedly, 'I hate maths. I'm glad I chose this path.' He said as he looked at his trophies. 'We're different, Maxi.' I said to him.
'Maybe but our differences aren't so bad. Besides I've XY chromosomes and you don't.' He said. I looked at him like he was an idiot. 'Our genetic differences, that's what you come up with?'
He nodded proudly, 'you're an idiot.' I laughed giving him a slap against his shoulder. He laughed too and he then stood up to bring my empty cup to the kitchen.
