Chapter One

Ireayo was playing with her one and only bestie Bidemi in the farmland where The rich kid squad(Adejoke,Aduke,Ajoke) of the kingdom was.The rich kids maid were plaiting their hair.When they saw Ire and her friend playing they were angry and stood up to fight them.

The leader of the squad in person of Adejoke daughter of the Otun walked up to Ire and her friend and mockingly said "Eri won see them stupid girls,didn't you see us here before bringing your stinking bodies to this farmland,Go to your father's land nuisance ....well You Ire everyone knows that your father ran away after impregnating your mother (The others of the Rich kids squad burst into laughter while the maid watched with pity) and you Bidemi Your mother left your father to marry a rich man,Now will you carry your stinking bodies out of this place Eleriibu.
Ire and her friend left in tears and went to their respective home.

Ire greeted her mother with a sad sullen face"Ekasan Maami"
Arewa replied "Good evening my daughter what happened why are you looking this way".

Maami it was the rich kids squad that harassed I and Bidemi while playing at the farm land this evening ire responsed.

Hmmm what is this children problem,why can't they face their own lives ehhn Omo mi ngbo what did they say to you because this your face is not smilling at all,Arewa said with concern.

Maami they said my father ran away is that true??Why did he leave you and I Maami?Why? Maami who is my father?Ire asked with tears gushing out.

My daughter it's okay ma sunkun mo,don't cry I would answer all your questions today,Sit down and wipe your tears,Arewa said to her crying daughter.
Here is my story Ireayomide

I,Arewa Omobolanle a fair beautiful damsel who is an incarnate version of her mother was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Fawemimo; according to the tales my mother told me I was born after the death of my father who died during the terrorist breakout into Ijakadi Kingdom.

My mother Maami as I fondly call her is a farmer and a labourer (The Alabaru's) who never stops taking good care of me until I became old enough to fend for myself.

I was not educated as Maami couldn't afford to continue to pay up my fees and also her health was deteriorating.I had to dropout of Secondary school when Maami was at the verge of death.

I became a street hawker and cleaner to assist my poor mother in providing our needs .Then came a day while hawking fruits I met Two young guys with promising future as we all call the Ara Eko (indigens of Lagos) with their dressing I could tell they are corpers serving the government.

From Afar I sighted the tallest and most handsome of them who held my heart captive what we can can love at first sight. Luckily I was called to sell fruits to them in which they bought all I had to hawk that day (Eleduwa Oseun).

They introduced themselves as Tobi and Demi (Tobi the one my heart yearn for studied accounting at the prestigious University of first choice, Lagos and his friend Demi studied Law in the same university).

I also introduced myself as Arewa and we baded goodbye. I went back home and kept thinking all night about Tobi,The next day coincidentally I saw Tobi again we kept on seeing each other until he finally profess his love to me; telling me how precious I am and how lucky he is to have Me,Arewa goddess of beauty .

Our love journey progress when he asked me out on a date I accepted beaming with all cheeks red infact he was the one who bought me that buba and iro I kept in my Ghana must go bag.We kept on communicating and our love grew stronger.

He finally talked about our marriage and plans for the future and not forgetting to mention sex.i wasn't comfortable when he mentioned sex and refused sex before marriage.He continue to pester me until that very day I agreed.

Flash back
Arewa adun mi,common baby let's do it now,you can't keep on suffering me like this......mo ni Fe e I want to marry you beautiful...you are my life and everything I can't leave you. Tobi said with pain in his eyes.

Tobi my heart,I love you too with everything I have but I.... I...I can't do this ,I don't want to do this and regret my actions you have few weeks to finish your NYSC program at ijakadi kingdom,Arewa grumbling said folding her arms and jamming her legs on the ground.

Tobi said :Arewa mi,why are you talkng like this,you are no longer a child...let me make you feel like a woman,ife mi I need you,I want to feel you moving closer to her and touching her face.

Arewa hesitated for a while but fell along as she enjoyed every play he was doing to her she blushed and was responding to his touch with her eyes closed caught into the web of pleasure ,Tobi was on top of her and the deed was done.

Flashback ends:
Omo mi,My daughter that was how I ended up in bed with Tobi,lost my virginity and also became pregnant weeks after. Trouble opened it's wide mouth to swallow me when I caught your father in bed with another lady.On that very day I was surprised how Tobi left his apartment wide open only to find him feasting on another lady.

Your father Tobi,rightly denied being responsible for the pregnancy and told me to give it to my other boyfriend which he knew he was my one and only man,I had no one else apart from him.Tobi pushed me out of his apartment and later left the ijakadi kingdom.Arewa wept bitterly as she narrated to her daughter

Ireayo who was moved by the narration was also crying,she went to her mother held her hands And said "Maami it's okay I'm sorry for bringing the past to face I only wanted to know what happened to my father after the incident of yesterday ,I promise you I will not let you down I will make you proud of me,Maami.
