The dust has barely settled on the rubble filling Manhattans streets. Mere hours ago, The Chitauri were terrorizing the city. And if it weren't for the quick and heroic thinking of Tony Stark, Manhattan would have been leveled to ash.
There has been no moment of peace for The Avengers. Because now it's time for Thor to return to Asgard with his brother as prisoner. Swearing his word to the others that Loki will pay for his crimes. Bruce and Tony showed reasonable apprehension to the idea, While Natasha and Clint posed no argument— In regards to Loki that is. However Thor's offer to bring Sofia along with he and Loki, sparked a roar of absolute refusal in the pair.
Now Thor stands with his restrained brother to his right, The warm sun beating heavy on their necks as their armor weighs on their already aching muscles from their long winded battle. Both of their gazes are locked on Sofia's back as she stands roughly twenty feet away, Clearly engaged in an argument. Although the trios words are muffled as they reach their ears.
"Do you truly believe bringing the girl to Asgard is the best idea?" Loki asks, Still fighting back any smidge of hope that the girl he witnessed slaughter a dozen Chitauri could be the angel of a girl he once knew.
The girl who used to read to him as he hung upside down while climbing in their favorite tree. The girl who failed a test given to her by Odin himself, Because she refused to fire a bow at any living creature.
"With every drop of blood flowing through my veins, I know she is Svana." Thor says, his tone low and speaking of fact although Loki deems it hope. "And I believe you know it too, Brother. I will get to the bottom of what led to the loss of her memories. And I will seek justice in whatever form Svana wishes it."
"Say you're right," Loki fights the pull of emotions swelling within his chest, his voice wavering. "If this girl is Svana, Then the only way she could have ended up on Midgard without a single memory, Would be if Odin banished her."
"What reason could Father have had to banish the girl whom was raised as a part of our family? My banishment was brought on by my greed, my ignorance in seeking out a war with the frost giants. Svana was only a Child..."
"I do not know." Loki replies, truthfully.

"I'll handcuff you to a damn lamp post if I have too, Sofia. You aren't going anywhere with that monster." Clint protests, unwavering fury in his bloodshot eyes.
"This must be how normal teenagers feel when their Dad forbids them from going out on the weekend." Sofia half jokes, shooting a grin to Natasha with her split lip on full display.
"This isn't a joke, Shadow. I'm on Clint's side. We won't let you go with him."
"I'm not going anywhere alone with Loki, I'm traveling to Asgard with Thor and Loki is his prisioner." Sofia clarifies.
"I can't risk you having to experience what I went through under his mind control, Kid..." Clint cringes, his jaw ticking as he actively fights to repress the still fresh memories. "How do you can trust Thor?"
"We don't know anything about either of them. Thor fought alongside us here but that doesn't mean he'll take your side once you arrive wherever the hell he takes you. And if you do end up in Asgard, What if something goes wrong? You won't be able to return home without his help and we will have no way to get to you." The crease in Natasha's forehead causes guilt to rise within Sofia's chest. "I lost you once, Shadow. I don't know if I can survive it a second time."
