The thing about being happy is that it can all come crashing down in a moment. When I walked into school on Monday, I got the surprise of a lifetime. Everyone would stare at me, but that had become the new normal. However, when I finally saw the walls covered, I could feel my body wanting to shut down.

The room was spinning and I leaned on the wall, however, my strength felt as if it had been sucked out of me until I finally fell on the floor. Through the dizziness and what feels like the weight of the world, I can hear the faint sound of heels tapping on the marble floor. They stop in front of me, and pull the flier, examining it. "Hmmm, interesting," she says and looks at me with a twisted smile. I glare at her from my position and see as my friends have arrived, pulling at the flier posted everywhere. "You know, Amelia. You can walk the walk, talk the talk, and even act the act. But it's all just an act. Just because you have Grayson and his friends at the moment, but it won't last-" Sienna says.

However, Lynett crouches down and gives me the flier, and whispers with spite, "Because you're still nothing but a daddy killer." I looked up at her in hatred, wanting to slap her or scream but my body didn't want to move. They head back inside as my friends approach me.

Gina and Link squat down next to me and place a hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?" Gina asks.

I'm fighting back the tears but hear myself say, "no. I'm not fucking okay."

"We're going to get these all removed," Grayson says as he lifts me up to my feet. I look at the flier and read it. It was my face and the small excerpt from my diary, I moved the steering wheel. I killed him. It looked like it was a confession. I wasn't sure who had done it, but I was seeing red and wanted to get even. At least with the two girls who mocked me for this. I pushed myself out of Grayson's grip and started walking into the cafeteria, they followed.

At the moment, I was feeling lucky that it was pie day. They were sitting in the center, laughing with the group of girls I used to sit with. They were laughing with the football players as others looked at them in jealousy. Why? I'm not sure, considering they were all fake. I grab two and walk up to them with a wide fake smile. The crowd that hid them opens up, afraid of me.

Sienna gives me a pitiful look as she says, "Amelia, we don't eat pie. You wouldn't know, but we try to watch our figure." Lynett stands next to her and nods her head in agreement.

I give them a nod in understanding and then give them a huge smile. "It's a good thing these aren't for eating," I say and plaster the containers on their perfectly make-up faces. I make sure to rub the pie all over until I feel their noses touch the tin bottom. I move my hands and the tin falls on the floor, revealing their sweet faces of horror and disgust. Their anger at me is noticeable as I just say, "oops."

"Food fight," I hear the voice yell and everything happens so fast as I see containers of food flying everywhere and in all directions. I try to run away, but someone pulls me down in their barricade. "Grayson," I yell at him.

He gives me a cheeky smile before grabbing a pudding cup and throwing it at my shirt. I glare at him and grab something close to me, a banana, and smoosh it on his face. We laugh at each other before getting hit with pies ourselves by Matt. The last person I expected to hit us, he laughs as Grayson and I share a look. Grayson quickly grabs his legs and brings him down while I grab some pubbing and juice. We drench Matt with a smile as he sits down, juice still flowing from him.

"That-" he says, "wasn't very nice."

"Gina watch out," Link says as he throws a pie at her face.

"Link, I am going to murder you," she responds and starts walking up to him. I can't help but laugh at the scene unfolding behind us. I see Lynett and Sienna have slipped and are now on the floor as others are still grasping for anything to throw at each other.
