CHAPTER TWELVE - HEART TO HEART

Ashley was sitting in her bedroom just reading when she hears a knock at her door, "Come in" she yields and Jack Ginnivan entered the room looking bored and wanting to talk.

"Hey girl, wanted to talk, that all good?" he asked casually.

Ashley turned to face him on her bed "yer sure, what's up" she asked, worried something had happened and he needed you help.

"Nothing just wondering how you're doing at the moment" he said as he walked over to her, sitting on the end of her bed.

"Yer good, it's been pretty busy with training and all, so I am tried but you know how it is. All in all, it's been good, how about you?"

Jack scratched the back of his neck, she noticed years ago that he would do this when something bothered him deeply or needed to tell or talk to her about something at was on his mind. "Yer I've been good, I have missed our time, you know when we got the spend time just the two of us".

"Yer, but I guess because we are living with the daicoses we don't get that time together" Ashley said leaning over and lightly holding Jacks hand in hers tying to reassure him and comfort him. "Trust me, next time we aren't busy, well go and spend the day together, just us, like we did when we were kids, running around and getting in to trouble" Jack laughed that the memory's that sentence brought back.

"Yer" there was a purse, "speaking of Josh and Nick, what do you think of them" Jack questioned, teasing at something Ashley couldn't put her finger on.

"Yer there nice, josh is a jem and Nick and so incredible" Jack raised his eye brown at the way she spoke about the youngest brother.

"Incredible ayy" jack smiled.

"Well, he's just, nothing like I expected, yer sure Josh is great and you know I love you like a brother but he's just, incredible" she laid back on the bed staring up at the ceiling above her.

"Sounds like you liiiiike him" Jake teased.

"Oh, shut it" Ashley sat up throwing a pillow at him to which he narrowly missed. The two laughed.

"Look I am just saying, you like him, and he is a great guy, shoot your shot and go for it, I am positive he will feel the same" Jack said smiling at the girl as her blush grow hotter and red as he spoke about Nick.

"Wait did he say something" Ashley instantly spoke, her mind racing.

"No, but I can see the way you look at him and he looks at you and it's the same look of puppy dog love" he laughs at Ashley who was just mad now.

"Oh, get out of my room you dick head" she said rolling over on her side as he stood up and began to walk out, as he neared the door and was about to shut it she spoke up "hey Jack"

"Yer"

"Thanks, for the chat it was" she was cut off.

"Nice" jack interrupted.

He left the room, Ashley's mind began to spin thinking what she and Jack had just spoken about, little didn't she know he had walked downstairs telling Josh and Nick what they spoken about giving Nick ideas on how to go about the new found information Jack had reviled.
