CHAPTER FIFTEEN - CLUB ROOMS

Its didn't take long for word to spread that Nick Daicos was fucking Jack Ginnivans best friend, well Maynards word not theirs. Though all the players had found out, no thanks to Ginni, Ash and Nick had sworn everyone on both teams to not tell anyone, especially the press. The two lovebirds didn't want to deal with the constant harassment of news articles and fan along with them trying to play their first season as athletes as best they could. So they kept it quiet. When Jack and Josh found out they were over the moon, though Jack did get all big brotherly and stated to act like Ashley's brothers back home. when he found out jack pulled Nick into a different room saying, 'if you hurt her, your fucked'. Josh was just happy to no longer having to talk about her behind her back, and he could finally stop listening to Nick going on and on about her. Nick and Josh's parents were thrilled when they found out and could contain their excitement, the boys mum had said to Ashley when she got a moment with her that she thought she would end up with Nick at one point or another. The next weeks at train were the same other than the comments.

The crew were had all gotten up bright and early for a long day of training when they arrived at the Collingwood Training ground their went their separate ways. As Josh and Jack were heading down to the club rooms to get dressed for training and make sure to inform everyone of the plan, Nick and Ashley stayed back at the car.

"I will see you at the end of training" Ashley said, closing the car boot with some force.

"Yep, cool" Nick said, no really reaction in his voice. As Ashley stared to walk away from the car she was violently pulled back by the hand, into the arms of Nick and lightly kissed on the lips.

"What was that for?" Ashley said, slightly shocked with a blush creeping on to her face.

"Just had to say goodbye," Nick spoke before walking in the same directing as Josh and Jack went before. When Ashley turned around, she saw Eliza James, Imogen Evens and Sarah Sansonetti standing in the entrance to the girl club rooms smiling at their friend. Ashley rolled her eyes knowing it would be a long season.

When Nick entered the change rooms what felt like a wave of applauds and cheers erupted from the Collingwood boys. He laughed knowing he was about to be paid out by his teammates.

"WOOO, BRO GOT GAME" Braden yelled from the other side of the room, coursing all the players to cheer even louder.

"Good score mate" Lipinski spoke patting nick on the back, nick was trying his hardest not to blush but the overwhelming embracement and happiness he felt took control. The room full for rowdy football players finally began to calm down when Isaac Quaynor spoke.

"Got there before me mate" he said coursing the room to burst out in laughter, this was when Nick final was able to speak. Looking over at Jack and his brother he said, "You boys better back of now, because she mine".

"OI THAT MY BEST FIEAND YOU BOYS ARE THIRSTING FOR!" Jack yelled, 'both on a ha ha jokes way and a back the fuck off or I will bet you asses way.'

Nick was both overwhelmed and happy to be in a relationship with someone so amazing and at the same time was totally embarrassed that Josh and Jack had told their entire club. Just has Nick finally had the space to breath and get ready for training, Craig McRae entered the room.

"So, our further super star is taken and by the girl he shares a jersey with" Craig said, this set everyone in to cheers and laughter. There was no return for Nick now, and before he knew it the press would find out, sooner or later.
