The weeks and weeks of training had finally paid off for Ashley and the boy and finally the season had started. It was the 18 of march and the boys were getting ready to head to the MCG of their first game of the season and Nick and Jacks courier against St Kilda. Ashley was upstairs in her room preparing for the game. Luckily the girls would also be playing in the Melbourne so the four wouldn't be split up until next week. Ashley was excited for the game; she had never seen the boys in action so it would be quick enjoyable. Ashley wore she Collingwood scarf with serval badges one which had the number 35 (nick and hers jersey numbers), and her grandfather's old cap which he had given to her before he died. As she walked downstairs she checked her phone, Eliza, Imogen, Sarah and her were all going to the game together and organizing were to meet. Not only them but shed be sitting with the Ginnivans and Daicoses as they'd all be sitting up in the family and friends only section of the stadium. When she walked downstairs the boys were getting ready to go.
"Best if we use two cars tonight" Josh said grabbing his and Nicks car keys. "Incise some of us want to leave earlier than others".
"Smart idea" Jack and Nick acknowledged.
The boys all hoped in the car, Josh and Jack drove together and Nick and Ashley were in the other car. At fist all she could only think about was the talk with Jack the day before but eventually her just enjoyed the car ride. The first little bit of the car ride Nick and Ashley joked around laughing and singing to the songs on the radio as loudly as they could. As Nick was driving he pulled up to a stop light, the car went quiet. Ashely was looking out the front window when Nick spoke.
"Do you wanna take a bet for tonight" Nick spoke with a grin on his face, he had a plan and Ashely knew it. But she didn't know what.
"Oh yer, I'll take it" she responded to him.
"But you haven't even herd what the bet is" Nick said.
"Yer but I mean how bad can it be" Ashley asked, Nick couldn't tell it is was a serious question or not but he went along with it anyways.
"If we win the game tonight, which we will, you have to kiss me" Ashley went quiet, she didn't know what to say, "on the lips" he said.
"whaaa, what aauuhh" she was stunted, she didn't know what to say how to feel. Her face felt hot, and she knew she was bright red. Luckily they had arrived at the MCG so she didn't have to responded right away. When they parked a swarm of reporters and paparazzi appeared. Nick and Ashley jumped out of the car; Nick quickly walked around to Ashley side of the car covering her with his his body as they walked in. He pushed through the crowed of reported asking questions.
"Do you think you will win" "who's the girl" "is she your girlfriend" "what's your relation" they went on. Nick continued to push and scowl them until eventually the security showed up and pushed them away for the players and leading them inside. The two got inside and Nick made his way to the club room down below the stadium. Before he entered, he turned around and spoke up.
"You didn't answer my question" Nick grinned in Ashley's direction hoping she would answer.
Ashley just rolled her eyes, "play well and then maybe hot shot" she said smiling back at him. His smile grow as he walked off into the club room to get ready for the game.
Ashley was escorted up to the top of the stadium where she sore her fellow players and family. She first walked over the Jacks parents as they greeted her and made shore that all was well with the boys before she had her way to the Daicos parents and then Eliza, Imogen and Sarah.
The girls all laughs and found their seats as the game started, Ashley was excited and nervous, if they lost the boys would be devastated, if they won it would be a party. She wasn't even thinking about the fact that her and Nick Daicos, a fucking leagued and super star, might kiss at the end of the night. Did Jack say something to him, was in genuine.
Down in the club rooms the boys we hyped and ready, Nick had told Josh, Jack, Patty and Isaac about what had happened in the car and they were hyping him up to make sure they won that game, there was more than just the opening of the season on this game.
