CHAPTER SIXTEEN - TEAMS ALIKE

The four were rarely at home together anymore, with the footy season taking off with a bang, they were all flying to different states on a regular bases for games. Ashley didn't get to see the boys much anymore and, when she did, it was only for a brief moment. Luckily she had her girls in the club who were like a new family for her and she was Face Timing the boys every other night, but the psychical disconnecting was really starting to get to her. She mist the talking with the boys and staying up late cuddling on the coach whilst watching some random film josh had found whilst looking through the internet. Before anyone knew it they were nearly halfway through the seasons and both teams were setting the ladder on fire. The press were eating up the Collingwood's to new beat star players Ashley Lewis and Nick Daicos and it was all anyone would talk about in the club and on the street. News article were contently coming out with headlines like Future Super Stars and Australia's new craze. Soon the two teams found out they would be playing a game in the same city, FINALLY. Both the Men's Footy Club and Woman's Footy Club were playing a in Adelaide a day apart and Ashley couldn't be happier to see the boys again. The boys team was playing first on the Friday night and the girls would be playing the next day in the late afternoon. When the team found out Ashley and Nick were ecstatic.

The plan was for that the girls would watch the boys game on the Friday night, coming to support there co-team and then the boys would come to watch the girls game. Before they knew it the girl were catching a fliet to go to Adelaide city. The girls plain would be landing first allowing them to go to the hotel, drop their stuff and them come back to the airport to come and welcome the boys. The two team met up at the airport and when Ashley spotted the boys coming off the plane to she went springing towards them. The first to notice was Jack, he instantly dropped his bags hugging Ashely in a tight bear hug. When josh hear the commotion, he came over walking up the girl and hugging her in the same loving brother way he always did.

"Where's Nick?" Ashley said looking around, when Jack pointed to the tall tanned boy walking off the plane. When nick looked up he spotted her running towards her, swallowing her in a hug, spinning her around in the air before placing her on the ground and giving her a tentative kiss on the lips. The kiss was broken by the players both girls and boys, cheering.

"I missed you Ash" nick spoke softly, wrapping him arm around her shoulder as the players were quickly escorted to the hotel. The second the boys arrived they got ready and prepared for the game before making their way to Adelaide Oval. Whilst they were training for the game, the girls began to dress and get ready for the game, ready to hype up the boys for their game.

When the boys game had started and the girls were where cheering a whooping form the stands before sprinting to the club rooms when they had there victory. When the girls made their way in to the club rooms the boys had begun to walk in to the club room. The girls were cheering as the boys began to ciruela up when there were about to kick of the anthem, Darcy Moore stopped the boys.

He looked over to the girls gesturing for them to join in wanting the share their victory with their co-team, there girls jump the barrier running in to the circle and linking up with the boys. Ashley stood between Nick and Jack.

"WOOOOOOO" They all began, the deafening sound of the Collingwood anthem prised their ears.

"GOOD OLD COLLINGWOOD FOR EVER, WE KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME" they continued Ashley looking up to Nick who had the biggest grin on his face as he looked at the players.

"SIDE BY SIDE WE STIKE TOGETEHR, TO UPHOLD TO MAGPIES NAME" as Ashley and Nick sang the word they look at each other a blush spreading across each other's face.

"SEEEE THE BARRACKERS ARE SHOUTING AS ALL BARRACKES SHOULD, OHHHH THE PERMIERSHIPS ARE CAKWALK FIOR THE GOOD OLD COLLINGWOODF" the players erupted in cheers and laughter walking around hugging and laugh with both teams alike.
