David wanted her even more.
It was a relief to know she wasn't taken.
He didn't mind a little fair play, David was a very confident man.

Her eyes glimmered and her hair was glossy and smooth.
He ached to run his fingers through it.
David had to remind himself that if he could only take her to bed one night, he could rid his thoughts of her.
That's it, he just needed to feel her body for one dreary night and then he could move on.
That would be David's plan.
