'Honey, it's almost nine

Now you be careful, got to go

"I love you, have a beautiful day!"

And kiss the happiest girl in the whole U.S.A.'

The sun shined through the blinds of my room.

The morning struck me out of my slumber.

I stretched myself outwards and leaped out of bed.

I had forgotten about the unfortunate events of the previous night.

It was a new day.

I felt this day had potential and I was still punch-drunk from David's confession.

I brushed my teeth wearily after recalling last night.

A smile slowly inched across my face after remembering David's words.

'I love her.'

I had the most stupid grin plastered on my face.

"My lovely! How did you sleep?"Marina asked joyfully.

"Well. How about yourself?"

"Oh, fine."

She was in the kitchen making breakfast for the three of us.

Harry was presumably still asleep, which gave me some time with Marina.

"So, what shall we do with the smitten David Gandy?"Marina asked as she set down our meals.

I dug into my meal, trying to avoid her interrogation.

"To be quite honest, I don't know.

I love him, and hearing him say it for the first time feels --- wonderful.

He's a good-hearted man and hopefully he'll still want me as his little lady." I spoke lightheartedly.

Marina squeezed my hand.

"Of course, he'll want you; Don't be ridiculous. I'll bet you he's coming to get you any minute now."

Coincidentally, the door bell rang and Marina and I shared surprised looks.

Could it be him?

Marina left the table and went to answer the door.

There he stood.

My beautiful man.

We we're a fair distance apart, but our eyes burned when Marina opened the door.

He looked so good in his custom made blazer and dress pants.

I could feel my eyes undressing him.

His gaze was burning through me and I longed to leap into his arms and stay there forever.

Marina stepped aside; I could tell she felt as though she was intruding.

We shared an understanding glance and she proceeded to her room rather quickly.

I stood up and David emerged from the door and darted towards me.

I met him halfway and we stood in the kitchen.

I could smell his lavish scent and I wanted to indulge in his perfection.

Neither of us moved.

"I love you." He finally uttered.
