'Roses, Bel Air, take me there,
I've been waiting to meet you.
Palm trees in the light,
I can sleep late at night
Darling, I'm waiting to greet you,
Come to me, baby.'
David woke up next to his beauty.
He needed to marry her.
This thought ran through his head every single day.
Propose, propose, propose!
It became a goddamn mantra.
For heaven's sakes get ahold of yourself, man!
Girlfriend, was not a significant title.
Wife, was much better.
Mrs. Gandy.
He mused.
"What was that?" Lana sat up in bed.
Oh God, he had just said that out loud, how foolish of him.
"Good Morning, my love." He redirected the conversation.
"Good Morning Sunshine!" She purred.
She knocked him back into his pillow and covered his face in kisses.
David groaned at their sloppy session.
He restrained Lana by her arms.
"Don't you like it when I kiss you?" She pouted.
David grinned at her innocence.
He pulled her into his lap and squeezed her bum.
"I love it when you kiss me." He teased.
She laughed happily and continued her seduction.
Later, she led him to the kitchen and prepared a hearty breakfast meal.
David watched her enthralled.
That's it, he had his mind set.
David was indeed a man of his word.
He would propose tomorrow.
He was not a man of Hearts and Flowers.
But he promised Lana he'd give her more.
Was he ready for this?
