"Y-Yoongi?" I stare.

He stares, unmoving. Was he real? It looked like him--with long dark hair and cat eyes.

"Yoongi?" I called and walked towards him, recovering. I still had him on my phone, but he wasn't saying anything. Was I hallucinating?

I started to walk faster. He turned and ran. What the hell? I bolted after him.

"Yoongi!" I yell.

I see him ducking and dodging people, dashing away from me. What was going on?

"Yoongi come back here!" I run faster than him, having longer legs than him. I'm catching up but he doesn't realize, bumping into people.

I grabbed his shoulder. He turns and glares at me. He shoves me off and disappears into the crowd.

I freeze in the middle of the crowd. What had just happened?

M phone buzzes,

I numbly put it to my ear. "Yes?"

"Where'd you go? You've got to see this--Hoseok got Taehyung on stage!" Namjoon laughs from the other side of the phone.

I couldn't go back to them. They'd ask why I was acting weird. They wouldn't believe I'd saw Yoongi. We all knew he was dead. We had gone to his funeral. He was set in the ground.

So, what was that just now?

Was it real?

"Jungkook? Hello?" Namjoon inquires with more worry in his tone.

"I have to go Harin's here to pick me up" I lie and hang up. I was still staring off at where Yoongi had disappeared. I couldn't believe it was real. It had to be. I wasn't hallucinating.

It had to be real.

It was I had touched him. I had heard his voice. He had called me. My phone started buzzing but I was already heading away from the festival.

Yoongi was dead. I'd been to his grave. We all knew he was dead.

But I'd never seen a body. Had anyone?

I found myself at the pool again, where I had seen him last. But there was no piano. Just the old mattress and spray-painted walls.

Had those-dreams? No, they weren't real. They'd been me imagining things to cope with the grief. Grief. I had gone through grief for him. And he was alive?

I flopped on the mattress and shut my phone off. I didn't know how to process this. I had a lot to think about. How did I know?

"I'll see you soon, bunny."

I must be going crazy.

Had he even died? Did he fake his death? Why would he do that? How? Why did he not tell us? Did he seriously not trust us?

My head was full of questions. I cover my eyes with my fists. I didn't know how to feel.

I was mad eh had gone behind our backs. I was happy to see him again, so happy I felt everything, I was so confused about everything.

Why had he called me?

He'd been watching me; had he been doing that this whole time?

I rolled over and turned my phone on again. I should move--Jin would find me here if they started to look for me. And with my mysterious disappearance they probably were.

I got up and started to walk again. I couldn't go to school--it was closed. I didn't want to go home. My feet lead me to another place I could go.

So, I walked to the roof of 505. I sit down on the edge and pulled out my phone. People had been messaging me nonstop, but I ignored them to open up a specific chat.
