Chapter 1~ I've never been better

JASMINE'S POV

I slept peacefully after a long night of studying for the upcoming school test. Well until.
.........
Heavy knocks are raining on my door.

"Arrrrrgh.... I'm up I'm up" I screamed jumping out of bed and I landed on the floor with a loud thud.

"Omph" ...... I sighed rolling my eyes when the loud knocks continued.

"Jasmine........don't tell me you're still in bed". Jace my older brother said well I can't reply since I'm wrapped up in my bedsheet like a burrito..

"Mmmm....fmmm ... Hmh..."I yelled well it's completely useless and exhausting.

Jace walked in without knocking and well his slight frown and arched browsays it all.

"Jasmine? Isn't it a bit too early to play buritto kid? And why today?..... it's a school day"

He said and I could tell the slight frown on his face was a fake because there's a smile beneath fighting it's way out.

"Mmmm...gmmmm..mmm" Urrgh....

Really smart Jasmine like he can understand a word you're saying.

He smirked and I glared at him. He bent down and helped me get out while I kept glaring at him.

He helped me to my feet and I frowned.

"Why did you bang on my door like that?"....I thought the house was on fire" I said

Talk about peaceful mornings something I rarely get.

"Well you should be more worried about getting ready for school in ten minutes Jas.... Mom and Dad's not home and I'm driving" He said smirking.

Oh he wouldn't dare
"Don't give me that look Jas..... We both know I would drive off to school if you don't get ready on time."

Jace said and I scoffed
"Would you do me a favor and get out of my room Jace?"

His annoying smirk was still on his face as he turned to walk out of my room.

He was already out when he turned around and said.

"And Jas... Mom forgot to prepare breakfast so........" I slammed the door in his face before he could get another word out.

"Annoying freak" I muttered

" I heard that" .

He said on the other side of the door and I rolled my eyes.

You do know that he isn't leaving without you?
Of course I know that Dad says that all the time .

I should get ready anyways.

"Jasmine we're gonna be late " I heard Jace yell from downstairs.

"I'm coming. Just a few minutes" I yelled back hoping he heard well it's not like the walls are sound proof so ..........

"Get your ass down here now or you can find your way to school"

He yelled in return and I rolled my eyes. Oh brother ..... I stared at the mirror I guess this should do.

I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs. Jaxon ran past me heading for the living room. Oh Boys.
