JASMINE'S POV
"Get your ass down Jasmine. We're late!"
I came downstairs with a long face.
"When are we never late Jake?" I said grumpily as I headed for the kitchen, I'm glad mom already had breakfast sorted out before she left for work.
"Maybe if you'd put your alarm on same time range with ours and not an hour later, we wouldn't be late" He said trailing behind me, I could smell pancakes.
I love you mom.
"We leave in ten Jasmine" he said and went to probably stuff his face with food.
"Jasmine, you're still on punishment for the slip up, so you're on bathroom cleaning for the whole week" Connor said with a face splitting grin. I can see he's really enjoying this.
"Thanks for reminding me Connor, I can't believe you set up the hepta J court just for me, I feel really special you know." Sarcasm accompanied every single word I said.
"You knew the rules Jas, that was not to be heard by a non family member"
"I thought Connor is family" I said and he rolled his eyes.
"Well the situation might have been different. What if it was someone else huh?"
"You should have backed me up when Connor was laughing his head off. It's all your fault" I said glaring at him.
"So you're pinning it on me now?,it was a freaking harmless joke, get over it and stop being sensitive all the damn time" He said sternly and I kept my plate in the sink before replying.
"So I'm being sensitive?. Well you're a grade A jerk and I hate you" I walked out of the kitchen with a deep scowl on my face.
That was a very childish comeback young woman.
My subconscious really isn't helping right now.
*********"Hey Jassy, whoa someone looks upset. What's with the scowl?" Rosie asked as she approached my locker. I got out my books and placed my backpack in it before closing the locker. I turned to stare at her .
"Just Jake being a jerk again"
"Oh, should I be worried?"
"No, you don't have to"
"Found your dairy yet?" She asked and I sighed.
"Nope" I replied popping the p.
"Oh Jasmine! Glad to finally see you here" I heard an annoying and very recognizable voice. I turned around and so did Rosie.
Courtney seems excited for reasons I don't care to know, and her minions–uh friends, are smiling too.
That's strange.
"Yeah I'm ecstatic" I said drily and she smirked.
"Well I just got this smoothie, and I thought you should have it instead" She said and I scoffed.
"I don't take smoothies from, hey!–" I glared at the stain on my yellow top, then at the culprit.
She just dumped perfect good smoothie on me!!.
Urrrgh! She's such a witch , I really felt like strangling her on the spot."What the hell?"
"That's just a warning to stay away from Connor, he's mine" She said with a vicious glare.
"Really? Did you have to be this freaking childish Courtney?."
Rosie glared at Courtney with the same intensity." Keep out of this brat" She responded and walked away. Rosie muttered some words under her breath as we watched Courtney go.
