CONNOR'S POV
"Dude"... I called out and Jake turned to look at me as we headed towards the gym room.
"Do you still own the tutu?" I asked and he scowled.
"Just shut the fuck up Connor"
"Seriously bro, do you secretly own a tutu I'm not aware of as we speak?" I teased him a bit more and he growled.
"One more word about that goddamn tutu and I swear I'll punch you halfway across the world" Jake said and I smirked then he smirked as well.
"Do you think she's right?" I asked walking into the gym room.
"About the gun? Or the robber?"
"Both" I said staring at the mess on the floor, what the hell happened here?. There gym equipments scattered on the floor, same goes for the balls.
"Bro" Jake whispered.
"Huh?"
"I see a shadow there" he pointed behind a large equipment and I stared on that direction.
"Yeah I see it too" I slowly approached the equipment and the shadow wavered on the floor, it looks like a kids shadow.
Jake stood beside me. 'it's a kid' I mouthed to him.
'You sure?' He mouthed back.
I nodded in reply and almost simultaneously we both approached the corner and there sat Jake's siblings Jeremy and Jason.
What the fuck?
"What the....?" I trailed off watching then stare up at us guiltily.
"Jeremy?... Jason?.. What the hell are the both of you doing here, how the hell did you even get here?" Jake questioned as his slowly contorted from surprised to angry.
Both boys got off the floor and Jeremy smirked, Jake folded his arms silently demanding them to answer.
"We got bored and overheard you and Jasmine talking about some mastermind plan, so we decided to tag along." Jeremy explained casually ignoring Jake's scowl.
"You were eavesdropping on us?"
"Well it would be eavesdropping if we planned to listen, the walls in the house aren't as thick as you think they are."
Shit!... The camera must have caught their faces, but I guess it's not a big deal if I can delete that part.
"Connor, go get Jasmine so we can head home... You two are cleaning up this mess"
"These stuffs are too heavy" Jason whined but I don't think Jake's letting him off the hook.
"I'm sure you were bored, well after lifting and keeping them, you won't be so bored afterall. Clean it up" Jake said sternly and they got to work.
I take that as my cue to go get the worry wart.
I walked into the office and Jasmine suddenly bounces off the chair.
"So?, Did you see who's behind the crashing sounds?"
" Yeah" I said with a smirk.
"Really? Who?" She asked with wide eyes.
"Turns out it was a really huge robber armed with a gun big enough to blast you half way across the earth."I replied and her eyes turned wider, if that was even possible.
"For real?, the dude exists?... Or.... Are you just messing with me?" She asked staring at me suspiciously. I never thought for a moment that she would actually believe that, I can only imagine how much damage sci-fi has caused her. Yet she accuses me of watching shows that rot my brain, that's totally bullshit, it's like pot calling kettle black.
"Just get your ass out of this office and let's head to the gym room already" I said before walking out of the office and I hear her trailing behind me.
By the time we had arrived the gym room, the stuff were neatly arranged where they should be, I guess Jake lent a helping hand to hasten the work.
"Nice work" I said and Jake turned to stare at me.
" Jeremy?, Jason? What are you doing here?" Jasmine asked with surprise written on her face.
"We'll talk about in on our way home, Connor didn't you say the alarms would turn back on anytime soon?"
Oh shit!
"Yeah" I brought out my phone and checked it, damn, one minute left.
"Guys I hate to break it to you but we've got one minute left, we've gotta get out like now" I said already heading out of the gym room and I head everyone shuffling behind me as we scurried down the hallway towards the way we came in through.
"Thirty seconds guys" I added as we approached the door, the alarm was still red thankfully as we headed out one after the other.
"Well that was fun" Jason said earning a glare from Jake and Jasmine.
I shut the door and almost immediately the color in the alarm system turns green.
Talk about luck.
"Jeremy, Jason, you both are in so much trouble when we get home.. How could you sneak out of the house like that?" Jasmine asked and Jeremy snickered.
"You're the one to talk." He said and Jasmine fake gasped.
"Excuse me?, I'm older than you are ok?" She replied.
"You think mom and dad will say same?." He asked and she glared at him...
"You would be getting in trouble as well if you rat us out."
"Then why don't we just agree this night never happened and move on huh? What do you say big sis?" Jeremy made sure to add emphasis on big sis while smirking at her.
That Jeremy kid is quite a pain in the ass I'll admit.
"Hey! Go wait for me at the car" Jake ordered all three of them and they walked towards the car but I could hear those two still bickering.
I guess being an only child does come with it's perks which I'm grateful for right now.
"So I guess I'll see you around, I have to get those two to shut their mouth about today" He said and both did our handshake we made up ourselves.
"You still gonna show up at the party tomorrow night?" He was already walking away when I asked, he stopped and turned around.
"Uh yeah... Definitely bro" He replied before heading towards his car.
Gotta head home as well.
I walked towards my bike and got on it before putting on the helmet.
I could see Jake's car driving out and see silhouettes of people having an argument and I let out a sigh."Wattersons" I said then chuckled, an amazing group of people I've had to meet...
I turned on the motorcycle and revved it before speeding home.
