"Don't you think it's such a waste to just leave perfectly good pieces of meat just laying here. I should bring plastic bags with me in future so that I bring some home like takeaway,"

I could feel Kaneki cringing behind me. "You're crazy," he mumbled.

"Raiding all these CCG headquarters is starting to get boring, that was like the third one this week," I groaned sinking into a chair.

Kaneki placed his cup of coffee down. "We should be getting a new mission soon," he said.

The door burst open as Ayato leaned in with a bored look on his face. "Let's go, we've got another mission."

"Perfect timing!" I squealed , jumping up from my chair.

Ayato had an annoyed look on his face as he left the room. "What the fuck is wrong with her, she's finally gone insane," he grumbled.

"He's not wrong about that...,"

"Oh shut up!" I roared.

...

"How much longer must we wait for?" I whinned for the millionth time.

"If you don't shut up I won't hesitate to slit your throat and silence you permanently," Ayato growled.

"Try me Ayato, but I bet I'll slit your throat long before you ever slit mine. And remember this Ayato~. If you touch even a single hair on my head the man right beside you won't hesitate to kill you, even if you're Touka's brother," I teased nodding a head to Kaneki's direction.

Ayato rolled his eyes but quickly changed his demeanour once a truck came into view.

"The target has arrived."

The three of us jumped down to stop the transportation truck. I quickly used my kokaku to shoot crystallised shards at the police car causing it to spin into chaos and crash into a wall. Ayato and Kaneki were dealing with the rest.

I could feel the presence of someone watching us so I stared into the shadows. "You're shit as hiding," I announced as two people in masks stepped out. One had black hair while the other has white. The twins ,Kurona Yasuhisa and Nashiro Yasuhisa, they kinda remind me of yin and yang to be honest.

The twins completely ignored my existence and went straight to fighting with Kaneki.

"Why not kill them....?"

"He can deal with them on his own,"I yawned. "Can't wait to go back to base and get some rest."

"But what if they kill him? You should kill the twins first before they kill your friend...,"

"They won't kill him, they're too weak for that," I said and turned away from the scene.

...

"Whose fucking idea was it to come here," I groaned loudly kicking a brick into the window of a toy store.

Naki was quick to go on a rampage destroying everything in the store while continuously screaming about Yamori being dead.

I clenched my fist in annoyance as Kaneki gave my hand a quick squeeze in an attempt to calm me down.

"We should kill him. He's useless anyway....,"

"Will you shut up about the killing," I mumbled. Kaneki gave me a wierd look.

"Talking to yourself again?" He sighed.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm not talking to myself," I grumbled.

"That's a lie,"

"I thought I told you too shut up!" I hissed.

Kaneki looked at me with amusement dancing in his eyes.

"You can't say much when you always talk to yourself and blaming it on Rize!" I huffed.

His lips curved up slightly but quickly disapeared once he noticed Naki writing on the floor with a red crayon, tears streaming down his face.

"Yamori~," Naki cried as he tried to write his name but was failing to do so. He looked to Kaneki and me for help. "I want to write Yamori but I don't know how to write it," he cried once again.

"God will he shut up with the crying!"

"For once I agree with you,"

I watched as Kaneki approached Naki and picked up a black crayon and proceeded to write Yamori's name out in hirigana on the floor. Such a waste of time.

"Can I leave now?" I asked Ayato.

"Do what you want," he replied.

I beemed at him showing my teeth. "See ya later," I giggled while skipping away.

Once I was out of sight my pace turned back to normal walking and my smile dissipated. Having to act all bright and cheerful is honestly starting to tire me out but I don't have a choice. The looks of concern on Kaneki's face he kept giving me for the past while were way worse. Atleast now he looks more confused and amused than anything.

"You know you could just cut your eyes out if you really don't want to see his faces,"

"I'll regenerate, I'm a ghoul remember," I said.

"Then just kill him, he won't be able to show any emotions once he's dead,"

I grabbed into the air and held onto the neck of a young girl.

"If you touch him I'll kill you," I threatened.

The girl wiggled in my grip and laughed. "You can't kill me Emilce. I'm already dead remember, you're the one who killed me,"

"Then I'll just have to kill you again!"

I squeezed harder until the girl dissapeared. I then leaned against a wall with my hand pressed to my face.

"I think I'm going insane...," I mumbled as my body slipped down till I was sitting on the floor.

"You are insane!" The girls voice echoed.

"Piss off kid. You already haunt my dreams so can't you just give me a break while I'm awake," I moaned.

"I'll consider it if you do something for me,"

"What do you want?" I asked. I'm actuallg desperate to get rid of that kid, she's well overstayed her welcome.

The girl then reappeared infront of me with a hand on her chin.

"Owch! You're quite determined to get rid of me Emilce, it kinda hurts a bit," she said sarcastically.

"Don't make me repeat myself,"

"Alright jeez," she grumbled. "How about not only will I leave you alone when you're awake but I'll leave you alone completely if you do this one little thing,"

"What do you want me to do?"

"That white haired friend of yours, I want you too kill him......,"

"Which one?" I interupted.

The girl gave me a wierded out look but then decided to just ignore it.

"The white haired investigator. If you kill him then I'll leave and never come back,"

"You've got yourself a deal," I replied. I placed my mask onto my face then walk away into the shadows. The girl watched me with a broad smirk on her face.

"Now this is going to be fun to see."
