Chapter 6 ₊˚⊹ ♡

"Oh, Felix! You're early!" Chan exclaims, pulling me into a hug. I stiffen in his arms, my face cringing in annoyance. The entire basketball team giggles.

"Ahem..." I cough.

"Oh, right. Sorry. Well, let's get started," Chan smiles, apologetically.

"Chan Hyung, Beomgyu, and Jungkook are also joining us," Taehyung says.

"Oh, sure. They're welcome to join, just as long as they don't distract your head," Chan warns. Taehyun and Taehyung nod their heads, signaling Beomgyu and Jungkook to come inside.

"Hey, Felix!" Jungkook greets. I wave at him.

"Oh also, by the way, Chan, I brought someone else," Beomgyu giggled, as a young boy walks into the courts with an excited grin on his face.

"Hyuka?" I whisper in surprise. He turns to me his grin widening.

*a/n: Hyuka is the nickname of Huening Kai (from TXT)

"FELIX!" he squeals. We run towards each other, tackling each other in a hug, before rolling onto the floor in a fit of giggles. Kai starts to tickle me as I laugh, trying to move away from him. I stand up and run towards Jisung but Kai chases after me.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!" I shout, leaping over the bleachers. But Kai and his fast legs catch up to me as he yanks me off the ground and pulls me into a bone-crushing hug.

"Oh my god, Hyuka! Your hugs are lethal!" I whine, gasping for air. He lets go of me, laughing his ass off.

"I haven't seen you in so long!" he whines, clinging to me. I walk back to the basketball team who stares at us surprised.

"So you two already know each other?" Beomgyu questions.

"Yeah!" Kai giggles.

"How?" Jungkook asks.

"It's a long story. But I'm not telling you guys!" Kai replies.

"Why not?"

"It's a bit embarrassing..." I chuckle, scratching my head.

"Oh come ooooon! You can tell us!" Beomgyu whines, shaking Kai.

"Nope!" Kai grins, skipping away from Beomgyu before clinging to my arm.

"Why are you being so clingy?" an angry voice says. We all turn to Hyunjin who seems to be glaring at Kai's arm around mine.

"Uhh... cause I can? It's not like you're his boyfriend?" Kai scoffs in response.

"It doesn't matter if I'm not his boyfriend, there should be a reason for your clinginess. Do you like him or what?" Hyunjin scowls.

"Hyunjin, don't be rude to my Hyuka!" I pout, putting an arm around Kai, "Hyuka's clinginess is his way to show his affection toward his friends! The same goes for me!"

"So when Chan hugged you, why did you get annoyed?" Hyunjin argues.

"Because we're not close enough. And I've known Heuning Kai since I came to Korea," I reply, ruffling Kai's hair. Hyunjin stares at Huening Kai with a stone-cold face. There is venom in his eyes and killing intent. I immediately hide Kai behind me in a protective manner.

"Stop killing Hyuka with your eyes Hyunjin. He hasn't done anything to you, for you to despise him," I growl.

"Guys! Stop this! Enough fighting. Felix and Hyunjin, you two need to work together! You'll be playing basketball with each other!" Chan interrupts. Hyunjin sighs looking away. Suddenly a group of girls barges into practice.

"Hyunnie!" one of the girls squeals, hugging Hyunnie and pecking his lips. The basketball team groans.

"Jang-Mi, what are you doing here?" Hyunjin asks in confusion.

"I heard you have a new teammate so I just wanted to check him out!" she giggles.

"Go away Jang-Mi. No one wants you and your bitchy little friends here," Taehyung growls.

"Ah! Cousin. Still, hate me?" Jang-Mi smirks, "Whose the new boy?"

"That would be me," I say in a polite tone, but Hyuka who stands beside me notices my jealousy.

"Oh... you look... feminine," she scoffs, looking at me, up and down.

"And you look like plastic," I grin.

"What!? How dare you!" she shouts, "I'm the prettiest girl in the school!"

"Aww really? I would take a photo of you, but I don't want a virus on my phone!" I sigh.

"Shut up, you faggot! You look like trash!" she yells.

"Oh please, you have a face that makes onions cry!"

"You'll regret this!" she roars, she's about to hit me, but I skillfully block her, grabbing her arm and twisting her around so she's unable to move.

"Woah! That move was epic!" Kai exclaims in awe.

"Felix! Let go of my girlfriend!" Hyunjin mutters. I let go of Jang-Mi, pushing her towards Hyunjin as she falls into his arms sobbing.

"Do you even know who my parents are!?"

"Do you even know that your parents are living proof, two wrongs don't make a right?" I scoff, rolling my eyes.

"Stop saying crap about her!!" Hyunjin roars. In surprise, I take a step back.

"What are you going to do? Fight me?" I reply.

"Yes. I will," Hyunjin glares.

"I wouldn't suggest that," Kai speaks up from beside me, "Felix has a black belt in taekwondo. He might be small in figure but he's sent many people to hospital. Even an armed robber!"

The basketball team gasps in surprise.

"What...?" Hyunjin whispers.

"Lee Felix is not only Australia's number one basketball player, he is also the number one taekwondo star!" Kai brags.

"Hyuka! Shut up! Enough talking. Otherwise, you'll expose everything about me!" I say.

"How much is there of you...?" Taehyung asks in shock.

"Oh, A lot--" Hyuka starts but I cover his mouth dragging him towards Jisung and Jeongin who are laughing from the bleachers.

"Shut him up, god dammit! Otherwise, he'll run his mouth off! Again," I mumble in worry. Jisung nods, handing Kai a piece of candy that seems to shut him up. I walk back to the basketball team and bow down in apology.

"Sorry about that. Can we start practice, please? It's been like half an hour..." I sigh.

"What about me!?" Jang-Mi cries from beside Hyunjin.

"Shut up, doll face. No one cares about you. Go cry to your boyfriend," Taehyung snaps from beside Jungkook. Me and Jungkook start to crack up so hard, we end up tripping over each other.

"JUNGKOOK! GET OFF ME! YOU'RE SO HEAVY!" I complain, but Jungkook doesn't budge.

"YOU ELEPHANT!" I bellow in his ears.

"OWWW! FELIX! THAT HURTS YOU, BIMBO!" Jungkook whines, clutching his ears in pain.

"You deserved that," I scoff.

"Okay. Enough drama! Let's start training!" Chan interrupts with an 'I'm so sick of this' face.

"Fine..." me and Taehyung sigh.

narrator: And so as the day rolled on, Felix trained with his new basketball team, having mini but internal breakdowns about his past which he tried his best to push away. But this ended up exhausting him. Yet he had grown incredibly close to Taehyung because they both shared a hatred towards Jang-Mi. Jungkook, of course, didn't mind as he trusted both Felix and Taehyung. However, every time Taehyung and Felix shared a conversation, Hyunjin would glare at their interactions. But why? Why was Hyunjin so jealous of Taehyung and Felix being together?

Is this fanfiction going to get even messier...?

Or can the author stop complicating the storyline...?
