Chapter 12 ₊˚⊹ ♡

I'm walking back to school with Jisung and Jeongin on either side of me, protectively closing around me.

"You don't have to be around me all the time..." I sigh but they don't move. We walk to the cafeteria where I find Jang-Mi hugging Hyunjin. Jisung and Jeongin go to pick up the food. I sat down watching Jang-Mi caress Hyunjin's hair. Anger boils inside of me as I walk straight up to her.

"Jang-Mi," I growl. She turns to me in shock.

"We need to talk," I say. Suddenly she starts to cry.

"Hyunjin! He was the one who hit me yesterday! Look here!" she cries, pointing to the bruise on her shoulder. Hyunjin turns to her in surprise.

"You bitch! Stop lying," I shout.

"No, it's true Hyunnie! He said that he liked you and that he wanted to get rid of me so he hit me!" she cries. Hyunjin turns to me in anger.

"What the hell Felix?"

"You believe that bullshit?" I yell.

"That bruise is obvious and clear," Hyunjin shouts.

"I never laid a finger on her!" I argue.

"Stop lying you asshole. I don't and I won't ever like you. I can't believe you touched my girlfriend!" he roars. This hits me like a bullet but I don't falter.

"I won't ever like you either Hyunjin. That little bitch is not who you think she is!" I reply, taking a step forward, "She--"

Before I could finish, I felt a slap across my face. I stumble back in surprise clasping the side of my cheek.

"Don't ever talk to us again! I don't even want to see your fucking face!" Hyunjin roars. My heart shatters, but as it does, a hatred for Hyunjin forms.

"As you wish," I whisper, walking away from them. I feel tears building up as pain stings my heart. I walk to the rooftop, sitting down on one of the benches. I look at the sky in sorrow. Hatred flows in my veins but at the same time, a hurt feeling twists in my stomach.

*Hyunjin's POV*

I watch Felix walk away, my gut twisting inside.

Maybe I shouldn't have done that...

Jang-Mi turns to me in tears.

"Hyunnie!" she cries. I'm about to console her when Jisung and Jeongin walk up to me.

"Where's Felix?" they ask.

"You want to know where that asshole went?" I growl in anger. They look at me in surprise.

"What do you mean?" Jisung asks in confusion.

"He hit my girlfriend! Because he liked me and he wanted to get rid of her! Why are you friends with someone like him!?" I shout. But to my surprise, Jisung's and Jeongin's faces turn into pure anger.

"You. Mother. Fucker. What. Did. You. Do. To. Felix," Jeongin asks.

"Why are you defending him--?" I say but I'm cut off by a stinging slap on my cheek, "What the--"

"YOU BELIEVED WHAT THAT SLUT SAID!?" Jisung roars, pointing at Jang-Mi. Before I could say anything, Jisung walks over, grabbed Jang-Mi by the hair, and punched her in the nose. Blood dribbled down her mouth.

"Stop!" I shout, pulling Jisung off Jang-Mi, "Why are you doing this?"

"YOU WANT TO KNOW!? BECAUSE THAT BITCH LIED. SHE NEVER GOT HIT BY FELIX. NEVER. YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY FELIX DIDN'T COME TO SCHOOL YESTERDAY!? BECAUSE JANG-MI KINDAPPED HIM. SHE HAD TAKEN HIM TO SOME RANDOM HOUSE AND BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIM TILL THE POINT HE HAD TO BE HOSPITALISED. THAT'S WHY HE HAS A PLASTER ON HIS HEAD AND ALL OVER HIS ARMS. THAT BITCH AND HER MINIONS HAD HURT FELIX. WHY?? BECAUSE SHE SAID FELIX WAS INTERFERING WITH YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HER! SHE THREATENED HIM! YOU FUCKING MONSTER," Jisung roars. My heart drops. What...?

The whole cafeteria stares at us as I turn to Jang-Mi.

"Is this true?"

"No! Don't believe him--" Jang-Mi states but a voice cuts her off.

"It is true. I was the one to save Felix. I saw everything that Jang-Mi did. I even have the proof!" a young girl declares holding her phone up. There was a photo of Felix tied up in a room.

I push Jang-Mi away.

"Why would you do that?" I ask in anger.

"He was trying to steal you from me!" she cried.

"I never liked you Jang-Mi! I only dated you because you kept bugging me! You don't own me either!" I shout.

"But--"

"We're over. I can't stand a bitch like you!" I growl. I turn to Jisung and Jeongin.

"Where's Felix?"

"You think we'd tell you after what you did? You don't deserve Felix. Felix deserves better. Don't ever speak to us or Felix again. Otherwise, I will fucking murder you," Jeongin threatens, grabbing Jisung and walking away. My heart shatters and for the first time in many years, tears start to stream down my face.
