41. Murder Weapons

A week later.

I wake up and stretch against Dipak. He's always so warm.

He wakes up and rubs my back a few times. "Last night was amazing baby."

"Yes it was sir." I get up and go to the bath. He comes in a couple minutes after me. We wash each other and just enjoy touching.

He helps me get all ready. Then we eat. After that he finishes my hair. Then we walk to my office together.

Mary smiles at us when we walk in.

Everyone is in their seats already. I sit down in my seat and he walks to the head of the table.

"Got anything for us Frode?"

Tre answers "No. But I do need the final item list for the store opening. We need to start producing."

Dipak looks at me. "What do you want to start with? Not to much though."

"The 3 oils in 3 different scents. And the matching soaps. And the bubbles. And the water colors. That ok?"

Tre writes it all down. "Yes that will probably be good for a start. It will give us enough to see where the money is going to be and what the people like. Everyone good with that list?"

They all nod and he sends the paper around for them to sign.

When they all get done he brings the paper to me. He point at where he wants me to sign it. I just stare at him. He stares back.

It gets Dipaks attention. I can see him watching us. "Is there a problem?"

I shake my head and look over the paper and sign it. Then hand it back to Tre. I just stare at him and watch him walk back.

"What is it?" Dipak is down there not looking happy right now.

I look at Dipak. "I think we just got a 2nd Frode sir."

Frode looks up and nods. "It does appear to be that way. He is good at it. And seems to like doing most of it."

I sit there with my mouth open for a minute. "Frode, you'll be able to take days off and stuff."

Everyone starts laughing.

"Vampire Queen Hypatia Nadine Sandu, you are being summoned to the medical area by Dr. Cruor."

I stand up and look at everyone. "I guess I'll go see what that is about. See you in 15 minutes or 3 days."

They all laugh again as I walk out.

I get down there and Dorseti points to Dr. Cruor's office. I walk in and he has 2 men in there with him.

"Hi everyone, you summoned me Dr.?"

"Yes these 2 men were on the last convoy that went over the cliff."

I nod. "Are you both feeling ok now?"

"Yes ma'am thank you."

I nod. I'm not sure why I'm here.

"Tell her what you told me please."

"There was another man on the convoy. He was always in the market. We haven't seen him since then. We thought maybe he was still in here."

"There were a few deaths gentlemen. It is possible..."

Dr. Cruor stops pacing for a second to look at me and say "No it's not. We went through all the records. Everyone was accounted for, except the 1 man. He seems to have vanished."

"Guard change us to high alert. And bring me the commander now."

"The alarms will sound to change alert level ma'am."
