70. It's Not Even That Far

3 weeks later we are all sitting around the table again trying to figure out how we are going to figure out who the people in black were in the vision. We have discussed this several times and no one has any ideas. Nothing they said with the friendly talkers lead anywhere.

"Maybe we can go back in or just walk their property or something. Maybe it will bring up some dispute." Daddy looks around for any support on that idea.

"If we could figure out who they are then we could watch them to see when they mobilize. It's the only way to get Thora and Mary in on the right day." Dracul is about to crack.

Dipak rolls his eyes. "But we still don't have any idea how to find them?"

The guard steps in. "Prince Tye approaching."

I say "Enter." Just to stop the bickering. "Maybe we just need to spend more time with them." A couple people nod.

Tye walks in and looks at us all.

I stand up and walk to him. "Good morning sir. How can we help you?"

"We are having a ball at the end of the week. My father asked me to bring the invite."

My eyes get so big and I grab him. "ANOTHER ONE?" He nods. "DADDY CAN WE GO?"

There is a collective "UGH." from daddies end of the table.

I start jumping up and down. "DADDY I WANT TO GO."

Thora jumps up and screams. "I NEED A DRESS."

"NOT WITHOUT ME." I take off after her.

Mary drags us both back and puts us in a chair together. We hold each other and stare at my daddy. Tye watches us laughing.

Daddy looks at me. "You will be veiled again."

"Yes daddy."

"You will go with your mate this time."

"Yes daddy."

"Your dress will be long and you will remain covered."

"Yes daddy."

"NO kissing."

"No promises daddy." Everyone busts out laughing.

Tye looks at me. "Oh there is 1 more thing." He hands me a paper with some medicine herbs on it. "The medical area needs help with those. We were wondering if you could assist."

"Sure I can come over this afternoon with a couple girls from the medical area. We will get everything worked out." I look back at daddy. "DADDY."

"FINE." Me and Thora jump up and run out the door.

Mary yells "MONEY." We run back in and grab it then leave again.

We spend 3 hours shopping in different villages but we get everything. We go home and eat.

We get to the afternoon meeting a little late.

Dipak looks right at me. "So do I get to escort someone?"

I throw my chair at him.

"WHAT WOMAN? YOU LET TRE."

"I'LL FIND YOU SOMEONE SIR."

He laughs and nods his head.

"I'm going to the princes village to sort out the medical stuff. I'm taking Dorseti and Elkie with me. We're going to take a carriage." Everyone nods and I grab them and leave.

We get over half way to the village. I make sure they know Tre is my only mate. I'm the princess. They both understand and then we hit a big bump and the carriage tips over.
