42. My King

Me and Dipak walk straight to my place. "Why are you kissing my mark like that? Are you trying to see how dark you can get my eyes in the hallway?"

"Yes kind of sir."

He pushes me up against my door and attacks my spot. Then kisses me. "Woman... You are going to...."

"AAAHHHH!"

We both fall on the floor in my house. I look up to see momma and Asa. "Hi momma, Asa. Sorry we were checking the door strength I think."

He sits up to his knees. "Yea that one failed I think." His eyes are still black and he's trying to help me up.

Momma laughs. "That's a bad alibi. I expected better out of you two."

"Sorry, it was rather sudden. We had no time to plan." I look at Dipak. "They were not in my plans."

"Yea, I didn't figure."

We get up finally and sit on the couch.

Asa looks at us. "Aurelia, I know you always said it was Dipak. But I didn't see it until just now. It does make sense."

I look at both of them sitting on my chairs. "Why are you 2 here?"

Momma smiles at me. "It's grown up stuff my baby. Can you go... somewhere else" She shrugs her shoulders. "For like 10 minutes."

I just stare at her. I can't even make words.

Dipak rubs my back. "No more secrets Aurelia. None." Good job. That's what I wanted to say.

Momma and Asa look at each other. "If we don't... We will all die Aurelia."

Momma looks at me. "Purple is the soul mate bond." My mouth hits the floor. Dipak is pulling me on his lap and crying. I'm just at a dead stare at momma.

I finally look at Dipak. His hair. His face. His eyes. I wipe the tears off his face. "Mine sir."

He nods and holds me tighter. "All mine baby." I throw my arms around him and hold him so tight.

I lean up a bit and kiss him. "All mine."

"Ok none of that yet you 2." Asa pushes me off him and moves me over a spot. "You are still to young to feel the mate bond. You won't feel the effects of it yet. Nothing anyone can do will bring that out."

I nod.

Momma stands up. "The problem is, we have a full invasion coming tomorrow and our acting king does not have his dragon. That needs fixed. We are going to tell him how to claim his dragon. It does not help that you have only 16% of your dragons power. But that can not be changed right now. Now step out my baby. The words that are about to come out of my mouth, I will not say around my child." I start to have a fit. "He will tell his mate after I leave. It is not a secret. I just can not say it around you."

I look at Dipak. I know he has more of the words I need right now.

He smiles at me. "Step out for a couple minutes baby. I'll tell you after they leave."

I look at the 3 of them with my mouth open. I stand up and jump up and down. "This is so unfair. Always with the secrets. I am not a child."

Momma looks at me. "OUT."

I stomp my feet all the way out the door and then slam it. Then I scream at my door. "YOU'RE ALL ASSHOLES." Then I kick the door.

Dracul comes out of his place a few doors down. "What are you doing?"

"They kicked me out of my place Dracul."

"Who did?"

"Momma, Asa and Dipak."
