A week later I am sitting Faity's room.

"I'm perfect?"

"You are perfect. Your neck is all better. But you should be more careful when you play. Always wear shoes in those slippery hallways."

"And you are my doctor now?"

"Well for body stuff yes. If your arm or belly hurt. You tell me. Well you can tell me anything. I'm a girl just like you. So I will go through all the same stuff you do. We did it this way, so you don't have to talk to boys about girl parts or girl problems."

She nods and looks down.

"You can tell me anything Faity."

"Is it normal for a boy to put something inside me down here?"

I smile at her. "Your mate yes. He will put his boy part in there. But that's only for your mate."

"But what if it wasn't my mate?"

"Well your mate will love you anyways. But those other ones don't count. You're to young. You just wait for your mate, as best as you can for when you get older." I wink at her. "No one's perfect."

"Was I ok from it?"

"I checked you from head to toe. You are perfect. You can go play all the tag you want now. Marcus said you can stay with your friends. He said you have a whole toy room there."

She starts to cry. "Those men said they were trying to make me have a baby."

"Was that something you were worried about?"

She nods her head.

"Well I checked your belly and there is no baby in it."

She jumps off the bed and runs to me. I get the biggest hug ever. "I was afraid to tell."

"You don't have to be afraid to tell me anything. I'll always help you ok?"

She smiles and nods.

"Alright. So you go play kid games and have fun. You wait on your mate for any boy stuff." She nods at me. "But you come back here if you have any doctor or girl questions ok?"

She nods and gives me another hug.

"Ok hop back in bed. I know someone who wants to check on you." She jumps in bed fast.

I open the door and Marcus is standing there with the little girl that was playing tag with her that day.

She sits straight up. "SELA!"

"FAITY! YOU'RE OK!" Faity jumps up and SELA runs to her. They both stand there hugging.

I just smile at them.

Marcus walks me out after a minute. "Reminds me of you and Thora."

I get tears in my eyes and nod. "Best friends are hard to find."

"But they stick around forever." He winks and puts his arm around me.

I lay my head on his shoulder. "She said they were trying to put a baby in her. I promised her that she has no baby in her belly."

"She gets to go be a baby now. She gets to grow up."

I nod. "I'm so happy for that."

He hands me off to Tye. "I'll come get the little one in a few hours. They need a good visit."

Dorseti yells at him. "I'll keep an eye on them. We have cake coming. They will like that."

We all start laughing.
