We all walk into Dipak's office and we're about an hour early. Everyone scatters. I walk over to the sitting room. I lay down on the couch and relax. I'll take an hour and just rest.

40 minutes later Marcus walks in. He's all worried again. This boy gets himself all worked up.

He sits at the end of the couch by my feet. I get up and straddle him. I give him a deep kiss and rub his shoulders some. "You're all tense again."

"I just don't know how to fix this bond. I want you to have it. I know you want it. I don't even know what it is."

"I love you."

He smiles at me and relaxes. "I love you too."

"That's all it is. It doesn't change anything. It's a bond that we can feel what love is between us. It doesn't add or subtract what's here. It just makes it so we can check it. It's not going to change anything between us. It's just so when we're apart I know you're alive or you know I'm alive. It's like a link between us that we can feel. But it doesn't increase the love or anything like that."

"I do love you so how is it sealed shut?"

"I think you were trying to protect yourself. You didn't want to get hurt anymore. I can't promise you that it won't ever hurt. Me and Dipak's bond snapped completely once or twice. That hurt like hell. Tre's went down to nearly nothing. That hurts. You sealed the bond shut. But you didn't seal your heart. You can still love, you always could. So relax. It'll open with time. And until it does, I'll just love you anyways." I give him a big hug.

Then I sit back up and notice he has tears in his eyes. "You always know exactly what to say."

I smile at him. "No I don't. I just get lucky a lot."

He starts laughing and I give him a kiss.

Thora pokes her head in. "4 minutes. Unless you want Dipak to have to walk over here and pretend not to see you sitting like that."

"Yea I want to go that route." She leaves.

I start kissing him again. "I do like kissing you sir."

"I like kissing you too."

"WOMAN GET OVER HERE. I AM NOT COMING OVER THERE. YOU CAN WALK."

Both of us start laughing. Then we walk into the hallway holding hands. He turns me and gives me a deep kiss before we walk in. I throw my arms around his neck and hold him close for a few more seconds.

"NO KISSING. BOY GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER."

I push Marcus in Dipak's office and then walk in behind him.

I smile at Dipak. "I don't know what daddies problem is."

He nods at me.

Daddy walks in the door and points at Marcus. "STOP KISSING MY PRINCESS."

Nova walks up to me and gives me a deep kiss.

Daddy just stares at her. Then he looks at Dipak. "DIPAK THIS IS YOUR FAULT. WHY IS EVERYONE KISSING MY DAUGHTER?"

Dipak cracks up laughing. "Actually I think that one is Tye's fault. Nova, no kissing right now. Just go sit in the hallway."

Daddy points at Marcus again. "BOY STOP KISSING MY DAUGHTER."

Marcus nods and then he looks at Dipak. "Anyone else got a problem with it?"

My eyebrows shoot up.

Dipak starts rubbing his eyes.

"I didn't think so." Marcus stands up and walks over to me and gives me the deepest kiss.

I throw my arms around his neck and smile at him.
