"I was very scared of him when I first met him in my house," I admitted.

"He was the only one smiling so why is it?"

"I don't know. The blonde hair?" I chuckled," but I think his name was Yang Jeongin ? Or Seo Changbin. Yes, he too! They didn't even smile for a second. Why's that?"

"They don't show their emotions just like that. You haven't encountered Lee Minho alone."

"Should I be worried?" Although I only had the opportunity to see Lee Minho twice, I was struck by the depth of his eyes.  I couldn't help but feel that there were hidden stories of pain and a lot of experience.

"We are all very lovable." At first, I was almost convinced by him, but then I gazed into his eyes and realized the truth may be a little different. His eyes are hiding something too. He's so reserved and colder than people his age are. Always kind to me yes, but is that enough for making him a saint?

"That's why you live in a mansion with two gates?"

"People are monsters you know, we had so many bad experiences when we lived separately in the city or suburbs, it was unbearable. We solved it so simply, living is cheaper, meetings are fast," he admitted. After all of those small disagreements between our personalities, this was our first real conversation.

"Do you at least have any pets?" I tried to make this conversation more free.

"Is this interview?" He chuckled.

"Then ask me something too."

"I'll ask you the same questions as you did. So listen carefully," As he spoke, his lips curved into a gentle, but mischievous smirk. The way his lips curled slightly to one side was endearing, and yet captivating at the same time. It was as if he knew the effect he had and was enjoying it.

"Go on," I smiled without even realizing it.

"Are you married?" his smile got even bigger, but he knew the answer anyway.

"No."

"Boyfriend?"

"Oh my dad hates boys around me," I said, but that caught him off guard.

"And yet, he let 8 boys in the same house with you. And me taking you out for dinners."

"Actually," I pointed my finger at him, "he doesn't know about you. And don't tell him."

"Secret? I like it," he laughed, but his words were making butterflies fight in my stomach.

With a smile, I returned his gaze, but my attention was quickly drawn to something in the shadows behind him. Through the windows, I could make out a clear figure lurking in the dimmed porch light.

"There's someone out there," I froze in place and locked eyes with Hyunjin. Despite his previous intimidating displays of strength, I was surprised to see him turn pale. It was an unexpected sight to experience. His eyes were filled with an emotion that I had never seen before – pure fear.

"Wha-what?" Hyunjin snapped his head behind and saw a mysterious person looking right at us.

He stood up from the couch and headed towards the door, but I grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Wait, don't go out. We don't know who it is, this could be very dangerous," I said with a shaky voice.

Hyunjin hesitated for a second but then nodded in agreement. "So go to your room and lock the door." We both stood there in silence, watching the figure outside who just started walking towards the door.
"Now, go!" he raised his voice. My heart started racing as I didn't want to leave his side, because I felt safer with him than alone in a huge house, I ran up the stairs but I didn't go to my room, I stayed at the top of the stairs peeking around the corner and listening to upcoming conversation, carefully watching when will the door open.
