Three days after Ben had taken Charlie back Nick was in the library, he looked up to see Ben walk in dragging Charlie by the wrist.

Nick couldn't tear his eyes from Charlie, he looked even more thin and pail than usual. But the moment their eyes met Charlies face lit up. But the moment only lasted a second as when Charlie stopped ben yanked him along.

Ben took a seat and had Charlie sit next to him. Ben looked over at nick and smirked, he kept one hand on Charlie, stroking him like a pet, silently gloating.

Nick sat frozen, a white hot anger raging inside him, but at the same time it felt like his heart was being torn out of his chest by the sight of Charlie as Ben's prisoner.

Ben and nick stared at each other, one gloating the other seething. But the staring contest was broken when Ben moved his hand. The gesture was meaningless but Charlie flinched.

Nicks legs started moving before he knew what he was doing, he quickly crossed the room and arrived before Ben and Charlie. It took all his willpower not to rip bens head from his shoulder then carry Charlie away.

"If you've hurt him." Nick growled.

"You'll what?" Ben laughed. "I could bite him right here and you would do nothing." But then Ben's tone changed. "Don't worry I haven't hurt him. When you stole him I came to realise how much I missed this particular human. He's like a cute pet." Ben tousled Charlies curls, petting his head like he was a dog.

"Don't do that." Nick growled, he could feel his fangs starting to emerge.

"I can do whatever I want to him." Ben laughed again. The he pushed Charlie to his feet, gesturing for him to go away. "Take a seat nick, I want to talk to you about Charlie."

Nick forced himself to sit across from the boy he hated.

"How do you get him to eat?" Ben asked. "He wont eat anything, in three days he's only had half a protein drink which he threw up. I've had to put him on an IV but that gives his blood an aftertaste. I would have him force fed but that would damage him."

Nick struggled to contain his rage. "Charlie has an eating disorder, you cant just make him eat."

"Well how did you do it?"

"Patience, kindness and routine."
