I stand in the hallway as I watch morticia put her lipstick on using the mirror near the door. I gently bounce the sleeping baby in my arms. Today is Morticia's first day back since we had Raven. I've reassured her multiple times that I'm okay and she doesn't have to take more time off but she doesn't listen.

Tish looks at me concerned "Are you sure you will be okay? I can take the day o-". "Honey we will be fine. We are gonna go for a little walk around jericho then I have to go see Dr White at 12. Wheres her office again?" I ask as she walks over to me. "Above the weathervane. I love you..and I love you my little bat" She says kissing me then kissing Raven's head.

I sigh as the door shuts. I place Raven in her swing chair and I go to the kitchen. I stand for what feels like forever staring into the fridge. I haven't really eaten much since I had Ray I've just drank coffee. Decaf of course. I make myself a coffee and I drink it before going to get changed. I change Raven and I put her in the stroller before leaving.

I decided to leave the stroller in the car so I didnt have to carry it up the many stairs leading to Dr whites office. I knock on the door as I keep tight hold of the carseat. "Come in!" I hear a cheery voice say. I open the door and I look around at the room. Plants hang off shelves and bookcases aswell as large plant pots on the floor.

"Hi..uh..im Nyx Thorpe. My wi-..girlfriend called this morning and made an appointment for 12. I'm a bit late sorry..I had a struggle getting my daughter to calm down before coming in" I say as I stare at the red haired woman. She looks somewhat familiar.

"Ah yes Nyx! So nice to meet you. Come sit" She says pointing to a sofa infront of me. I put Raven's Carseat on the sofa before sitting next to it. "Shes adorable. How old is she?" Dr White asks. "Shes um..six and a half weeks" I mumble.

She nods at me "and how had motherhood been up to now?". I look down at my hands as I sigh "tough..uh I've.. struggled with it...with forming a bond". She hums and nods. I feel tears forming in my eyes "I um..last night..She wouldn't stop crying. And..I havent slept properly in..I don't know how long. I left to smoke and I ended up talking to a friend and she..convinced me to come here".

"How does that make you feel? The leaving to smoke?" She asks handing me a tissue. I look up at her "It..makes me feel relaxed. I just..think about walking away constantly. Or..uh..I..tried to kill myself when I was younger. I took a ton of tablets. I keep thinking about doing it again".

"Next time you feel like this try to distract yourself by going on a walk or maybe try to talk to morticia" Dr White tells me. I frown "I didn't tell you my girlfriends name". She fakes a smile and holds my hand across the table "Oh she told me it when she called. Dont worry I'm not some creep or something".

I nod at her and I move to get Raven out of her seat. "Can I hold her?" I look down at Raven and I nod. I pass her over and I sigh "Dr White I..should get going soon..the hours almost up". "Call me Lynn. You can come back whenever you need." She tells me and I nod.

I get up and I take Raven from her. She watches in silence as I place Raven in the carseat and I put a blanket over her. I pick the carseat up and I walk to the door "thankyou for today". I freeze as Lynn wraps her arms around me. I slowly relax into the hug and I smile as she speaks "I'm looking forward to seeing you again".

I leave and I go back to the car. I look up and I spot Lynn watching me out of a window. I give her a small smile before getting into the car. I drive back to nevermore and I take the stroller and carseat home. I decide to go see Morticia even though she is teaching.

I knock on the door whilst resting my hand on the bottom of the sling I have Raven in. The door opens and a stressed morticia steps out "Yes?..Mon cheri?". I hum and I peck her lips. I brush my hand over Raven's cheek "We thought we would come see mommy didnt we princess".

"Oh..um..im in the middle of teaching love" she says squeezing my hand. I nod "Sorry..I uh..just wanted to see you". Tish sighs and steps into the classroom "Class..do you mind if Ms Thorpe and our daughter sit in for the last 10 minutes of the lesson?". I hear a few hums and nos and a smile.

Tish grabs a spare seat and moves it next to her seat. I sit down in it and the class awe at Raven. Tish sits down and holds my hand before pressing a kiss to the back of it. I sit and I listen as the class chatter and work. I sigh and I lay my head in Morticia's shoulder "therapy went well..". Tish hums and kisses my neck "thats good mon cheri.".

We sit for the next 10 minutes in a comfortable silence until the class is dismissed. I smile and I take Raven out of the sling. Tish puts her hands out and I pass her raven "Hello my little dove..I love you". I sigh and I sit on her knee. "Lets go for lunch my love" she says and I nod.
