Noa

Little Miss Blondie is at my house right now, I am dressed in a hoodie and some shorts while I watch The Babysitter on the television. A blanket covers me and there's a plate of mango, strawberries and watermelon by my side to use as a snack.

School ended not long ago, a few hours actually and I've just been watching films in the living room as my brother and his girlfriend mess around upstairs.

"Where are you going?" I question as I hear the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs, I look over my shoulder and see Zara, "Oh yeah, Karen said yes."

"That's great, she isn't the best at making the first move." She responds and I hum. I notice a bag thrown over her shoulder, "I have ballet class, do you want to come along? We actually need to bring someone for an audience and Caden doesn't seem like the type to do so."

"That is such a lie, why do you want me to come?" I raise a brow and she rolls her eyes.

"It's the truth." She smiles and I laugh at her before pausing the film and turning the television off, "We have to leave in ten minutes."

"Let me go get dressed then." I head up the stairs and into my bedroom, I decide to pick out a shirt, jacket and some flared pants. It didn't take long for me to get changed I still have my makeup and hair done from school so everything should be okay.

I go back downstairs and meet the girl who waits for me at the door, she looks at me and then opened the door for me. We both leave the house and she opens up her car door for me and I take a seat inside.

This has all happened before, when we were together she would hold the door open for me, she would take a seat and kiss me, hold my hand as she drove. She was always the one to drive, she would look at me like I was her whole world, like I was the only person she ever needed.

Except this time there was no kiss, no holding hands and no looks. Her car smells like vanilla, just like her.

"It will last an hour and a half, it's just practice you won't get too bored." She laughs quietly as she began to drive and I look out of the window as we drive down the street.

"Why didn't you ask Juliette if she could come with you?" I ask and she shrugs which makes me turn my head to look at her. God, the way the light hits her face, she looks so beautiful. The way the light brings out the colour in her eyes, the way her lips have a slight shine to them due to her licking them a few times plus the lip gloss.

"You were the only one I could think of who would come to watch." She answers and I hum and feel myself start to smile as I look out of the window.

It didn't take long for us to arrive at her ballet studio, she held the door open for me to get out and then we walk up to the entrance.

"You will be fine." She whispers and I scoff, we used to do this a lot. I'd always come to her ballet classes to watch so being back here brings back memories. She clearly sees I'm nervous but I don't know why I am. It's just being here again.

The two of us walk into the building, there are a few girls including Daisy who I met earlier, she looks at me and smiled widely.

"Noa? What are you doing here?" She runs over, she's in her ballet clothes but no shoes on.

"I'm here to be an audience, apparently you have to bring someone," I explain and she looks at me in confusion and then to Zara.

"No, she just wants you to come watch, there's no bringing people for an audience going on." Daisy laughs nervously and I look at Zara who stood smiling.

"I'm going home." I groan and spin on my heels to leave but someone grabbed my arm and turned me back.

Zara.

She held onto my arm with a firm grip and our eyes lock, I wish I could say I didn't feel anything but I did, and I know damn well she did too.

"You are staying, I'm sorry for lying but I just wanted you to see you again without your brother around, please stay." She whispers and I shake my head, "Noa please, you can't even go home anyway."

"Whatever, I'm only staying because it's your car and you wouldn't let me drive it if I begged." I chuckle and she smiles.

"I mean, things change." She smirks and stick my middle finger up at her which causes her to laugh.

"Zara stop flirting! Come on get changed!" One of the girls calls out and she sighs and then heads backstage to get changed.

Flirting?

I take a seat on one of the benches at the side, Daisy comes down to sit with me and I look at her with a small smile. Her hair is tied into a ponytail and her clothes are like the rest, they all match. A black leotard with a black skirt and then some tights. They do pointe, I know the girls have a strong passion for it, especially Zara.

"She talks about you a lot, we all have free time at the start of practice and she would tell me all about you. I'm glad to have you back." She smiles and I smile and look at the girl beside me.

"When was the most recent mention?" I ask and she shrugs.

"Last lesson, a few days ago. She was talking about how she got with Caden but there's nothing there but she's around you so everything is okay for her. Don't tell her I told you." She answers and I feel my cheeks heat up and I laugh. Little Miss Blondie doesn't like my brother, she's with him to be around me.

"No worries, I won't tell." I gave her a pinky promise and she smiles at me.

"Don't you have cheer practice?" Daisy asks as she stands up to put her shoes on.

"Hahah, about that...I may have cancelled it to be here." I confess and the ginger looks at me with a shocked expression.

"All for Zara?" She smiles and then I notice the door open and out came the blonde all dressed. I haven't seen her in her ballet uniform for a long time, she looks the same, she looks really happy and I'll gladly sit here watching her if it means seeing her as happy as she looks right now.

"All for Zara."
