And finally approaching
The Summary
The conclusion
Or you could say
The sum of me
Well, some of me
At least
Wrestling page by page
The writing beast
Which I sometimes do
Recklessly
Stroking its distinctive mane
For when I finally think
It is tame
It turns on me
As if to say
I would love to do this all over againAnd so I flex my pen
And colourfully
Craft words like stables
Stroking, only this time,
Writing's ego
Like follow me
I want something stable
My writing feels struck
With epilepsy
Like I'm stuck
Right behind the ink
Right above the page
I can't seem to reach
Until writing has mercy on me
I think?
I'm not sure of what it is
Writing
Something I master
Or something that masters me
I've been trying to weigh
Who has more power
Or is it a matter of when
Jack Bauer?A conclusion
Shouldn't just be though
My admission of confusion
It should at least account for
The resulting resolutionI'm not saying
I don't know,
Writing is a tool
I'm dissecting
How much power
It holds,
Even violating the rule
Of ambiguity
By telling you
Instead of
Letting you
Unravel the mystery
Like the wit loving reader
You are
But we've already established
The beast is insane thus far
So all manner of deviation
Is fair gameAnd so its power
Towers over me
Hell, I grant it
Willingly
In an effort to one day
Supplant it
To learn
Till I can teach
Only to learn
How much more
There is to see
To learn
To yield
To attain
And yield
To attain
Bottling it up
Is what drove the beast insaneBut sometimes
The bottle feels empty
Yet the desire
To splash water in your face
Remains
A little ambiguity
Goes a long way
Even if it is just
Little grains
My conclusion is
I'm no longer the same
As I was in the prologue
Even the mind
Has weight loss
Writing turns you
Inside out
Grosses you out
Crucial
In budget cuts
Mirrors your knowledge
Which is nothing much
Until it is
Still nothing much
In the sea
Of more than enough
I can breathe
Underwater
And will one day
Fly to the sun
I may not be growing any taller
But my writing has only begun
