Kwai had been hanging out with Sal for almost all of this week, and I had barely ever seen him. Every night I heard these amazing stories if what they had done. When I hadn't been laid in a WEEK! A WEEK!
It was Friday August 20, I think, but almost time for me to return home to go to college. I would have to tell Kwai, and we'd have to break up! But I could still enjoy him for another week or so.
Kwai walked in through the front door, looking confused. "Hey! I thought you'd be out all night!" I said and tried to kiss him on the cheek, but he pulled away. "Hey, what's wrong?" "Sal, told me a crazy story. He knows you, and he told me.. that the whole reason you came to England, was to... hook up?!" He raised his voice. I cowered, he never raised his voice. "It may have started that way..." I practically whispered. "Is that all I am to you? A... a... sex toy! Am i that stupid to fall in love?! I can't believe you! I thought you liked me!" He threw a mug on the wall.
"Listen, I meant what I said! I really do like you... But.. Who told you this?" I said, I was so confused. "Sal told me, but he said his name was actually Steven. You arn't answering me!" He yelled
Steven! STEVEN ANTHONY LAWRENCE!?!?? How did he know?! He told me he would ruin my life, but THIS?!? This was a new low.
"Don't listen to Steven, I did only intend to sleep with you. But I got to know you and I really did like you after a while and I thought we could last." I cried. "Oh my god, Brooklyn was right. I shouldn't have gone with you all." He ran his fingers through his hair. "Please... Kwai, I meant everything, I LOVE you!" I sobbed.
"Claire, I... can't believe you... You could have told me. Steven told me you'd say this.." He paced back and forth. "Please! Kwai!" I sobbed harder. "Just, SHUT UP!" He yelled, but I saw a tear glisten down his cheek.
"We're done. This is done." Kwai said and started walking away. I lunged forward and grabbed his arm, "Kwai, you HAVE to believe me. You don't understand..." he ripped his arm away. "I think I understand plenty." He growled.
He marched away, slamming the front door behind him. Leaving me to cry myself to sleep.
I had just broken up with Kwai Marsh Brown.
