I put the dress Kwai had bought me in my bag, it really was beautiful. I zipped up the suitcase and rolled it to the hall.
In the living room all my friends were there. "Claire, you don't HAVE to go." Geneva said. "Please stay for another week with us?" Julia asked. "Kwai might come back." Laura said. I shook my head.
"You weren't there, he was like.. really mad. I really don't think anything in this world would make him come back." I looked at my Keds, on my feet.
Kyra nodded solemnly, "I guess I'll see you sometime later." Kyra came in for a hug. "Me too, maybe I'll come to Toronto soon." Geneva hugged me. "And we'll see you when we go to collage." My friends all piled in, for a hug.
"Guys, my taxi is waiting." I said. They all let go, with tears on their faces. "Now you're going to make me cry!" I said a tear trickling down my face.

"Taxi!" I put out my arm. A yellow cab pulled over. "Follow that car." I said pointing.
