Tanjiro Kamado Pov.

I started my rehabilitation training a couple days ago. We get stretched by three girls, all of which were extremely kind. Aoi explained what we will be doing for the next couple weeks to regain our strength. There's also as new skill the three girls told us about. One that all the hashira have learned, total concentration breathing.

They explained it to me and I have been trying to do it all week. I've only been able to do it for a couple minutes, there's just something that I haven't been doing right. I don't know if its just my lungs, or maybe it's because I'm still healing.

"Hey Tanjiro, we're going to take a break for lunch, you coming?" Zenitsu walked away from the cup table and smiled. He was covered in medicated water, thrown on by Kanao.

"I'll join you later. I'm going to work on my breathing for a little while longer." I smiled despite the constant pain in my chest as I talked.

"Ugh, I don't know how you can even try to do that now, it's only our first day!" He turned around and Inosuke was already waiting at the door. "Inosuke might eat all of the rice balls if you don't hurry up." They both walked out and I let out a breath before deciding to try at the cups again.

"Hey Kanao, can I go for another round?" She looked over at me and nodded meekly. I walked over to her and sat across from her at the small table. "How about you go easy on my this time..." I chuckled awkwardly and she didn't anything.

We started and she immediately blocked my attempted to grab a cup and grabbed her own, but I blocked that one. We went on like this for about half an hour before I decided to call it quits. It was 0-3 and I lost, but I already knew I would so it as fine.

"I'm going to go for a little walk, I'll be back later." I smiled at her and saw a faint blush on her cheeks, she waved back a little.

I walked out through the door in the training room and decided to take a stroll in the woods. It was a little chilly outside but I liked it that way. I went through a path and enjoyed the fresh air.

I don't know why, but it felt as if I was being watched. I've been getting the same feeling for a week and I've just pushed it off. There's no reason to worry, it's probably nothing anyway.

I jumped when I felt a hand cover my mouth, muting my scream.

"Shh. It's just me." I turned around and Tomioka was here. Just standing there in his regular clothes, his hair styled in the ponytail, his beautiful deep blue eyes...

"H-hi Tomioka, what're you doing out here...?" I looked away from his eyes, I feel as if I look into them for too long, I might drown.

"I was just walking around. I rented an inn in the area." He face remained unchanged. The same collect expression, so calm.

"That's nice. How long are you staying in town?" I tried to keep up conversation but it was getting difficult, I can smell his scent. It's so alluring...

"Just until my next missi..." I couldn't really hear him anymore. His voice so deep, just like his eyes... His scent is just so addicting, I kind of want to get closer...

I found myself leaning on his chest when I snapped back to reality. I just leaned on his chest in the middle of a conversation. Shit.

I know that I kind of like him a little bit... Okay maybe more than a little but that not excuse to go this far! He probably doesn't even like guys. What do I do now?! What do I do now!?!?! WHAT DO I FUCKING DO NOWWW!?!?!

Giyu Tomioka Pov.

If I had known talking to him in the middle of the woods makes him do this then I would've done it a lot sooner. His body is leaning on mine, his head on my chest. He wasn't looking at me but I could tell he was probably bright red right now.

"Tanjiro, you okay?" I gently put my arms around him and he seemed to stiffen up. I tightened them a little and he seemed to loosen up a little. I felt his smaller arms go around my torso and I smiled slightly.

'He's just so adorable...'

"I'm fine... Just a little tired is all." He lifted his head up and looked at me. His red eyes staring right at my blue ones.

"Are you sure...?" I leaned in slowly, watching his reaction.

"Yeah.." His eyes flickered to my lips, quickly looking back at my eyes.

"If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm always here..." He leaned in more and so did I. "I can help you with anything..." I felt his nose touch mine a little.

"Anything..." He mumbled.  I smirked slightly when his eyes closed, we were only centimeters apart.

"Yes, darling... anything..." Our lips touched each others briefly but we both jumped back when he heard something in the woods. I looked over and then a bunny jumped out. It had a little carrot in its mouth and hopped back into the bush when it saw us.

We could hear it's steps as it furthered into the forest.

'That fucking bunny ruined it.'

I sighed and looked at Tanjiro. His face was flushed and he was looking at the ground like it was the most interesting thing in the world. He was holding a hand over his mouth and other was gripping his shirt.

"I-i should probably h-head back now..." He turned away from and started walking.

"I'll walk you there." I walked up next to him but he didn't look at me.

"O-okay..." We walked in complete silence. I could see his hands shaking slightly. Once we reached the end of the path, I stopped and turned to him.

"Hey, what do you think about meeting me for dinner in the village tomorrow?" He stopped walking and finally looked at me, surprised.

"Uh.....uh....mmm...I guess that would be fine..." His face got even brighter and he looked so embarrassed.

"Great. I'll come here around, let's say, 5?"

"S-sure..." He completely avoided eye contact with me and started walking up to the gate.

"See you tomorrow, darling." He froze and turned to me, a blush even more visible on his face.

"S-see y-you..." Tanjiro turned back around and shut the door fast.

'So cute.'

A date? I actually can't believe it. The last story I wrote had them basically together first 2 chapters. This time, I'm going to make it a little slower. How should this date go? And all the future ones? Feel free to comment some ideas, it would be helpful.
