This chapter insinuates them doing some 'things' at the end. You have been warned. 

Tanjiro Pov.

"Hey Tanjiro, wake up." I opened my eyes and lifted up my head a little. I was leaning on something warm. I looked up and saw that it was Tomioka, who seemed to be enjoying my sleepy state. "It's time." I sat up and realized it was getting dark.

"Is the demon out?" I could sense it around the train but I couldn't see it.

"Not yet. It's waiting for when it's fully dark."

"Okay, we should get ready then." We both got our swords ready. We have to hide them whenever we go out because when people see someone with a sword they might call the police.

After about half an hour, we both got up and walked over to the tracks where we sensed the demon, although we couldn't see it yet.

"It'll come out soon to hunt." I nodded and we both walked to separate sides of the station, preparing for when it'll show itself. I looked around and noticed a portal opening in the ground.

"It's time!" He turned and pulled out his sword, as did I. The demon came out of the portal and he had a weird suit on. He had eyes on his hand and turned to look at us.

"What do we have here? A hashira? Oh how lucky I must be~" He smiled and Tomioka used his 6th form and started the battle. I jumped in when I could and we fought like that for a couple minutes.

I tried to get in as many hits as I could, but it dodged most of my attacks. Tomioka was doing a lot more damage than me, as expected from a hashira. But for some reason, I feel different. I can't seem to bring myself to really try to kill the demon right now, I'm just dodging and hitting him with basic attacks.

I'm starting to feel tired, this isn't normal for me. Usually I start figuring out strategies and things. What's happening? I can't really see Tomioka anymore. I heard him say my name but I can't respond right now. Why is that?

'No no no no no no no no no this can't happen right now! Not now..' I felt my consciousness slowly fizzle out as a heat embraced my body. 'What was I doing?'

Giyu Pov. 

"Tanjiro!" I was busy with the demon called Enmu but I watched him while I fought. He's completely passed out. This demon was definitely stronger than the one I faced on Mt. Natagumo, a lot stronger. I think I've figured him out though, whenever I look at the eyes on his hands, I slow down.

"Hey hashira, what's your name?" He kept dodging and stopped attacking monetarily. "Answer me." I still said nothing and continued attacking him.

'I got his attacking pattern. Now all I need to do is find his week spot...' I quickly ran behind him from above and started my 11th form. 'Then I need to start an attack, but when he turns around to dodge, I quickly move to his left side and get him.'

I sliced off its head. It scream for a minutes and then slowly fizzled out. There's no need to talk to a dying demon. They kill family members and destroy lives, they don't deserve the satisfaction of having someone to talk to before they die. 

I ran over to Tanjiro and shook him a little. 

"Tanjiro? Hey wake up. Tanjiro!" I shook him harder but he only grumbled slightly. I put a hand on his forehead and felt his fever, he was burning up. "Hey Tanjiro, your alright..." I couldn't smell his scent while I was fighting, but I can now. I'm pretty sure he's in heat. It's the only explanation for the sweetening of his scent. 

I picked him up and carried him to the hotel fast. I made sure to hide from anyone in the lobby before anyone saw. I snuck him up to his room and made sure to lock the door. Who knows what alphas would do with someone in heat. 

I laid him down and made sure his windows were locked as well. I remember when he had gone into heat while he was staying with Urokodaki, he usually stayed in room the entire time and only ate some food in the mornings. 

"T-tomioka~" I whipped my head over to Tanjiro, who was now half awake on his bed.

"Hey, are you okay?" I walked over to him slowly. 

"H-hurts..." I was huddled up in a ball, his scent was everywhere now... It smells so sweet.

"I'm just going to get your uniform off, okay?" I slowly took his sword off of his belt. I placed it against the wall and started taking off his corps uniform. I slowly took off his shoes and made sure he was comfortable in what had had on, which was his underwear and a plane white undershirt. "I'm going to go now..." I started walking out, I was planning on going to my room before I did anything to him that I would regret later. 

"N-no no don't go..." I felt a hand tug at my back, he grabbed my haori and was pulled me towards him. "Stay.." He tugged a little harder.

"I can't Tanjiro, I have to go..." I saw the pained look on his face. 

"No!" He pulled me on top of him on the bed. Not that I minded being on top of him or anything but still. He's going to make me go into my rut.

"Tanjiro-" I tried to get up but he pulled me in and kissed me, pretty harshly actually. I kissed him back and he pulled back panting after a minute. "I can't stay." He pouted and kissed me again, but this time he got on top of me and sat on my lap. 

"You stay..." He started moving his hips against me. I growled and glared at him. 

"Tanjiro." He continued what he was doing and I put my hands on his waist. "Be careful..." I started grinding his hips down harder and he moaned. "You sure you want this?" He nodded. "Use your words." 

"Y-yes..!" I flipped him over and got off the bed. He whined but stopped when he saw me start taking my uniform off.

"You asked for this."
