Giyu Tomioka pov.

I don't know what to do. Our server keeps walking passed our table looking at Tanjiro. I can tell he's uncomfortable, but he wants to stay until we finish dinner. The waiter came buy with our food and looked at Tanjiro yet again, a hint of malice in his eyes.

"I hope you enjoy your food, sir." He put a hand on Tanjiros shoulder and smiled at him weirdly. He walked away and stared at Tanjiro from across the room, watching him closely.

"Hey Tanjiro, let's leave right after we eat, okay?" He looked at me and put a smile on his face, though it was easy to tell he wanted to leave.

"Yeah, that sounds good." We started eating our food and I decided to try and start some conversation, he seemed like he needed a distraction. I can't take care of that guy while Tanjiro's here, but I will deal with him.

"So how's your food?"

"It's good. Usually the pork is over cooked, but it's just perfect this time." He smiled and grabbed one with his chop sticks and lifted it up to show me. "See? Perfectly cooked!"

"Tanjiro, why are you so excited about pork?" I laughed and I could see a blush crawl its way to his face. He's so adorable.

"Its good..." He pouted and turned his head, probably aware of how red his face was at the moment.

"Hey, don't look away from me. I guess that pork is just that good." I reached over and gently put a hand on chin and turned his face towards me. I rubbed my thumb across his bottom lip. "You should finish eating. It'd be better for us to leave sooner rather than later." I took my hand away and he just nodded and went back to eating his precious perfectly cooked pork.

After half an hour we both finished our food and decided that we would go to the place next door. I called a different waitress when they walked by and asked for the check. I made sure to wait until our waiter went behind the counter.

"Thank you, please come again soon." The waitress led us out the door and gave us two little candies before going back inside. I looked over at Tanjiro, he was looking at the small place next door.

"Are we going there next?" He looked at me with a hint of hidden excitement. I knew he liked kelp rice balls, so I found a place that made them the way he liked. Since they didn't serve any main dishes, I chose to have our main meal at the place next to it. I regret that decision profusely

"Yes, they serve the kelp rice balls you like." He smiled and practically ran inside. I followed him and we were greeted by a woman at the front.

"We would like to order some kelp rice balls." She wrote that down and looked back at us.

"How many?" I looked over and and gestured for him to answer.

"Oh uh, how about 6." She wrote that down and smiled before walking back. We both sat in the small room and waited for a couple of minutes. "How'd you know that I like kelp rice balls...?" He seemed hesitant to ask but that was normal, after all he's never actually told me directly that he did.

"I heard you talking about it with Urokodaki once."

"Oh, yeah that makes sense..." He seemed like he wanted to ask something else but then the woman came with the rice balls in a small box.

"Here you go. That will be 1000 yen." I handed her the money and walked out with Tanjiro.

"Here," I handed him the box. "You should eat them while there still fresh." He gladly took the box and opened it. His eyes lit up and he started eating one immediately. I chuckled and we started walking back to the butterfly mansion.

"Thank you for this." I looked over at him, he was already done with his rice balls. "For dinner and everything."

"You're welcome. I hope we can do this again sometime." I grabbed his hand. He blushed and looked at me.

"Yeah...I would love that." We walked in a comfortable silence the rest of the way back to the mansion. As we reached the gate inside, he stopped and turned to me. "So, uh, I was wondering... Are you staying until we're done with out rehabilitation training? It's just that.." He paused. "I was hoping I could see you before I leave because it might be awhile before we see each other again." He was fidgeting with his hands while he talked.

"Oh, I was thinking about it. I have a mission nearby, but I can come here after to see you before you leave." I was going to anyway. I decided to follow him on his next mission.

"Okay!" He smiled at me and let go of my hand. "I'll see you then!" He started walking away but I grabbed his hand.

"Wait, let me give you something before you leave." I pulled him towards me and kissed him. He froze, but after a couple seconds he started to kiss me back. I moved my hand up to his neck and deepened the kiss. He shuddered when I moved my other hand to his waist and pulled him against me. I carefully unbuttoned the top of his shirt slightly to reveal his neck more.

I stopped kissing him and took in the expression on his face. He was beautiful. I leaned into his neck and placed gentle kisses along his collar bone. I heard him mutter quiet moans as I did so. I pulled away and smirked at the slight disappointment on his face.

"We can continue next time." I buttoned his shirt back and memorized how his face looked. Dazed with a faint blush spread across his cheeks. "Have a nice night, darling." I kissed his forehead.

"Bye..." He mumbled and walked inside the mansion. I started walking back down the path, all the way back to that cafe. I had some unfinished business to take care of.

3rd Pov.

Giyu had made a decision about the waiter as soon as he noticed how he looked at Tanjiro.

"Please! I didn't do anything wrong!" The waiter was on the ground crawling away from Giyu, who had a mask on.

"Which hand did you touch him with? It was your right, right?" He laughed and glared down at the poor waiter. "You don't get to touch what's mine, or anything else with that hand. Giyu drew his sword out. "Too bad your blood will make such a mess..."

He sliced it clean off, leaving the waiter screaming in agony in the woods as he walked away.

He left nothing but his scent. But only one person would be able to notice, and that person was no where near him.

Meanwhile Tanjiro...

'He kissed me... HE KISSED ME!?!'

Sorry this took so long! One week turned into 2 months....I'll get another chapter out sooner.
