(F/N) typed away on his Scroll when he had the opportunity, with a piece of paper at his side that had part of the essay that Eric had made. If there was anything that he could gleam from that, then perhaps he might be able to put the pieces together. He was trying his best to pull his weight, working diligently so that he can make up for his lack of a fight against Eric. He pulled every bit of information from his brain that he could, trying to figure out which ingredient was used for what, and how it could affect the formula as a whole.
But he was hitting nothing but dead ends. This started to frustrate him, his mental monologue telling him that he's wasting time. He should be out there with Lucas and Dan to try and sae Ruby and Blake. It tormented him with that thought with acive imaginations, showing Yang scolding him, his teammates turning their back on him, and pushing him back to how he was before he got his stupid powers.
His hands started to thake, his throat was getting warm, and tears began to prick his eyes. He pulled his hands away from the keyboard and gripped them tightly, gritting his teeth together.
"Dammit!" He shouted as he swiped everything off of his desk and onto the floor. He stood up after he did, looking down at the mess he made. The images in his mind faded, and it turned to just himself.
I shouldn't be here about a curiosity, he thought. This is a waste of time. So what if it answers a question? That question isn't important. (F/N) hung his head and let out a sigh, before picking up the Scroll and keyboard, his notes on the formula, and the goals he stated to find.
"I'm missing something," (F/N) muttered to himself. "Just one piece is all I need. If I can find it, I can figure it all out. I just need something to-" His Scroll went off, revealing that it was Lucas who was calling. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, (F/N) answered. "Hello?"
"(F/N), come on over to the playground in Vale," Lucas said. "There's something we need to show you." Before (F/N) could ask any questions, Lucas hung up. He pulled his Scroll away from his face and looked at the device in his hand, cocking an eyebrow.
"(F/N)," a voice called out, causing him to turn around and see that it was Weiss. "Come on, Dan said he wanted to show us something."
He must've called everyone, (F/N) thought to himself.

Adam stood at the entrance to his camp, looking out like a guard. He was waiting for the one who had the folder to return. To no longer hold onto those files and return to continue with their part of the plan. However, there was nothing. No sign of fires blocking ways out, No contact over the Scroll to alert him to any hiccups or that his plan was a success. A low growl left Adam's lips and he clutched his weapon tightly.
Turning around at the device, he saw that Eric was applying the finishing touches, all that was left was to place it onto a trolley that would help them carry the device through the sewers. With the lack of a soldier, Adam approached the devic, looking towards Eric.
"Let's go ahead and move this out," he said. Eric returned his gaze to Adam, looking at him quizzically. "It's possible one of our operatives have been compromised."
"What about the prisoners?" Eric asked.
"Move them, too," Adam replied, "if they are key to keeping them off of us, then we will need them to move the device."

(F/N) and Weiss headed towards the playground in Vale. Even stepping onto the area did thoughts run through (F/N)'s mind. This was where he put his abilities into perspective, his web-swinging, climbing. And it was all thanks to having a night with Ruby.
