Epilogue

Through some miraculous event, or perhaps the serum doubled his resistance, Eric managed to survive the fall, but he was too tired and too woozy to get up and fight. He stumbled as he got out from beneath some of the rubble, pushing himself up to resume his mission, only to be greeted with weapons from nearby Huntsmen; the teachers of Beacon. He looked around at them, seeing them aim their weapons at him. He snarled, until he was bound to the ground by ice collars and cuffs, keeping him to the ground and unable to move. Professor Goodwitch walked into view, holding her riding crop, her weapon of choice, and eyeing the monster from her position.

The White Fang all retreated when the teachers had arrived. Though it hurt his pride, Adam also had to regress back to the shadows, seeing his plan fail due to the actions of Beacon's team. But he wouldn't forget what was done.

When Dan, Lucas, Abella, and Blake exited the CCT normally, they saw the damage that had occurred from the battle, as well as the large antenna that was knocked off of the top. They looked at each other, in the sheer shock of what had transpired.

"Blake!" They heard, getting their attention. When Blake looked over, she could see both Yang and Weiss pull her into a hug. They held her tight, making sure that she was actually safe and secured, before backing away.

"Where's Ruby and (F/N)?" Weiss asked.

"They had swung away in that direction," Abella pointed out, aiming her finger in the direction that (F/N) had taken her. They raced off in the direction Abella gave them, heading towards the source of laughter. And when they got as close as they could, they could only see both (F/N) and Ruby, laying on the ground, laughing hard from whatever joke they had heard.

They pushed themselves upright, wiping away tears from their eyes, until they calmed down. They had eventually noticed the other people.

"Oh, hey guys," (F/N) said, coming down from his laughing fit, "we're all good here!" He said, holding a thumbs up. Ruby snorted and started laughing again, leaning against him for support. They didn't know the context of what had happened, or why they were laughing.

Hugs were exchanged all around when everything finally calmed down. Both Yang and Abella were checking their teammates for any scratches and scrapes, any bloodied hands or deep cuts.

The next day rolled around. While repairs to the CCT was set up, Ozpin had called everyone in Beacon to the auditorium. He stood on the stage, his suit nicely pressed. Off to his left (the student's right), were the other teachers who were there as well, dressed properly.

"Yesterday, Vale was faced with a threat," Ozpin began, "a threat that, after understanding the circumstances, would've brought about the end for the people of Vale, both humans and Faunus alike. The only thing that put a stop to it were the brave students of this prestigious academy, who went above and beyond to stop those who would threaten the peace. For those who have not seen the news, Doctor Eric Liz, former scientist of the Vale Branch Labs, was operating with the White Fang to create a serum that would transform humans into Faunuses. But in trying to create as many batches of this serum as possible, he had made a serum that would not only turn humans into Faunus, but also unknowingly killed Faunus as well. It was thanks to the teams here that we all live to see another day. Whether they fought foot soldiers at the front doors, or fought the beast themselves, we cannot ignore the work they have done." Ozpin then turned to the side and motioned for the ones he mentioned to step onto the stage. One-by-one, Ruby's team and (F/N)'s team walked onto the stage, where they were greeted with applause from the other students. "It is thanks to this team that we are here today," Ozpin said, before naming off everyone in team RWBY, and then proceeded to (F/N)'s team. "Lucas Box, a student who keeps the pressure, and takes the hits that his teammates cannot. Dan Tanaka, who's level-headed approach and affinity to Aura allowed him to back up his fellow teammates. Abella Ayala, whose caring nature ensured that innocents are out of harm's way and saving those in need. And finally (F/N) (L/N), whose scientific intelligence allowed him to identify the deadly toxin. We wouldn't be here today if it weren't for these teams here." A roar of applause erupted from the people, as well as the teachers who were there as well. A warm feeling went over (F/N)'s body as he saw his classmates applaud him. He looked over to the teachers as well, seeing their applause. He then looked over at Glynda, who gave him a warm smile. "And thanks to their efforts, the committee has ruled that Faunus are allowed to continue attending Beacon Academy." The Faunus of the school applauded loudly as well, bright smiles going over their faces, while people like Cardin just rolled their eyes at the information. "In celebration, classes will be dismissed for the next two days!" Another celebratory applause erupted, leading everyone to scream and cheer.
