It's been two days since the Sports Festival. The little break we had from school is now over. I'm sure some people had taken the opportunity to go to the beach or something, but not me. Aside from our usual training to stay in shape, neither Izuku or I had really done anything over the break. I had expected that I would spent most of the time gaming, but that didn't quite happen either. Even if I would get a game going, I'd find myself bombarded with text messages.

I was waiting outside Izuku's apartment, in my uniform. I was leaning back on the balcony railing with my phone in hand, texting away. Izuku finally emerged and shifted my focus, for a moment. "Ready to go, Y/N?" Izuku asked. I slipped my phone in my pants pocket.

"Yeah, let's head out." I replied. We started walking to the train station, nearby. It was the way we always got to school.

"It's hard to believe our two days off are already over. They went by so fast!" Izuku said, smiling. As I opened my mouth to speak, my phone chirped and interrupted my thoughts. I pulled it from my pocket and started typing once again. "Who is it? Did you forget something at home?" Izuku asked, curiously.

"What? No. It's just Jiro. (phone chirps) And also Yaoyorozu. (phone chirps) And a little of Mei." I said, still typing. I rubbed my eyes with my other hand. "God, girls love to talk, huh?" I said, bluntly. Izuku scratched his head at my comment.

"I-uh...I wouldn't really know... So, how long has that been going on?" he asked.

"Has what...? I've been getting a bunch of different texts from them for the past couple of days, if that's what you mean." I simply stated. The two of us had made it to the station and got on the train.

"You mean from all three of them?" Izuku asked.

"First it was Jiro checking in on me, asking if I was okay after everything that happened during the Festival. Then, not long after, Yaoyorozu started texting me about the exact same thing. Then I end up in two different conversations with both of them. That's been going on ever since." I explained, overwhelmed.

"And Mei?" Izuku asked, slightly confused.

"She started sending occasional messages yesterday. All having to do about her inventions, us working on stuff together and different things I can refill with my quirk. I'm pretty sure I'll soon become her support gear guinea pig or something..." I said, jokingly.

"Hey, it is them!"

"Both of them!"

We turned our heads to face the sudden commotion. Several of the other passengers on the train had recognized us.

"Hey, you came in second in the UA Sports Festival!"

"You were the guy using pistols!"

"And he was the guy who was breaking all his bones!"

Izuku blushed in embarrassment and placed a hand over his face. I lightly chuckled and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Folks! Folks! Let's relax a little. Despite his powerful quirk, my friend here is a little shy. So, let's take it easy, all right?" I politely asked.

"Your fights were so cool! You were running all over the place, dodging attacks, shooting shots and punching people!"

"It's no big deal. I'm just a guy who's watched way too many action movies." I said, sarcastically. My words sparked laughter from many people on the train. I couldn't help but feel like I was doing great as a Hero in training. Before long, we made it to school and ran into Iida. At our lockers, Izuku and I tried to ask him about his brother, but he just shook us off and said everything was fine. We both knew that wasn't true, though. Shortly after the Sports Festival, it was all over the news that the Pro Hero, Ingenium had been critically injured. Ingenium was Iida's older brother and evidently, he had been attacked by a maniac known as The Hero Killer.
