First Person POV:
Aizawa stood at the front of Class 1A. The students of which sat quietly, eager about the topic at hand.
"The hero work studies are a more serious version of your internships. They entail helping pro agencies on the streets with investigations. Your teachers and the principal discussed them at the faculty meeting. And we all agree... It's too soon. They should really be canceled." Aizawa said, seriously. Us students took a moment to fully comprehend exactly what he had just stated. As it sank in, everyone found themselves unanimously surprised at this revelation.
"Whaaattt?!" the class screamed.
"Aw, but we already met about them!" Kirishima complained.
"I guess when you think about why we had to move into the dorms, it does make sense." Kaminari realized. Meanwhile, he uncaringly fumbled with Ojiro's tail, who sat in front of him.
"Ha, ha!" Bakugo suddenly bellowed. He stood at his desk wearing a genuinely spiteful expression.
"Just because you wouldn't get to do one." Hagakure muttered, in front.
"So, possibly no work studies? Man, this is more disappointing than the time I found out that your search history can also appear on the WiFi bill." I said, sinking in my chair.
"You're fine with admitting that?" Jiro said, sarcastically.
"As I was saying, many of us in the faculty are against your participation in work studies. But some people think we won't be able to raise strong heroes with that sort of protective outlook. And with that in mind, the compromise is to be selective about participating agencies. So, choose one with a proven track record. Otherwise, you won't be taking part." Aizawa explained.
"A wise requirement." Iida said, understandingly.
"Damn it!" Bakugo screamed. Meanwhile, I was contemplating what these requirements would mean for myself.
'Hang on, now! Only agencies with good work study track records? Back during my internship, I got cut to rivets by Stain. So, does that mean that Nighteye's agency is totally off the table? Where the hell else am I supposed to go? I might not have left the place on the best terms, but I'd hoped to at least have a chance at returning there and seeing the gang again...' I thought, intensely.
"Maybe I should contact Selkie." Tsu said. The sound of my chair scraping the floor erupted, as I rapidly stood at my desk.
"Am I gonna have to intern with some hero I've never even heard of?! I don't keep up with all the Pros, like Izuku does! It's like I've reached a fork in the road, except all the other paths have trees down!" I ranted.
"L/N. If this is about what I think it is, you can try contacting the agency and seeing if they're willing to have you back. If yes, you can make an appeal to the principal about returning there." Aizawa stated, rubbing his eyes. I immediately raised my hand, as part of a formal request.
"Permission to leave the room and make a phone call!" I yelled.
"Beat it." Aizaw replied, uncaring.
"Maybe later. But for now I'll go make this phone call." I said, sarcastically. Kaminari and Kirishima did a double take, as they thought over what I'd just suggested.
From there, students did their best to establish their work study plans. Eventually, Izuku had found himself seeking the help of his mentor.
Third Person POV:
"Wait, you want me to introduce you to Sir Nighteye for the work study program?" All Might said, shellshocked. Izuku stood before him, straight and tall.
