Hopefully this chapter doesn't seem rushed because it really wasn't.

The students of 1A quietly sat in their seats. To an outsider looking in, it probably looked like another day in class. Everyone's desks were full of books and various jaunted notes. Present Mic stood at the whiteboard, teaching the subject he always does. But for a special few, it was different. The whole ambiance of the room was thrown off. Sitting with a quiet look of concern, was Izuku, Uraraka, Kirishima, and Tsu. Meanwhile, Y/N wore a face of profound frustration, which before long would blossom into rage.

That evening, Y/N continued the same routine he'd done lately. Since returning from his most recent work study, the dormitory weight room had been his safe haven. Or perhaps, more accurately, his coping mechanism. As Kirishima concluded his own training for the evening, he turned back to his good friend. Y/N had finished his after-cardio break and now moved on to doing one-handed pushups.

"He still training?" Izuku asked, from the hall.

"Like a well-oiled machine." Kirishima replied, shutting the door. Jiro suddenly turned the corner, headed to the dorm kitchen.

"Are you guys spying on him again? It's getting kinda weird." Jiro asked, calmly.

"Aren't you a little concerned with how he's been acting lately?" Kirishima countered.

"Yeah. When Y/N stops making jokes, then things are really serious. It's almost scary how mad he must be." Izuku added, guiltily.

"Well, it can't be helped. None of you work study guys can talk about any details, right? Besides, Y/N clearly just wants space right now, not advice. That much is up to him." Jiro reasoned. Everyone parted ways to continue their own evenings.

Y/N POV:

Saturday. The day to get shit done. That is, if you don't find yourself wasting it. For the first time in a long while, I'm up before sunrise. My increased nightly training has been effective. The others think it's about burning off stress and anger. They're wrong. I've been preparing myself, body and mind, for the Hassaikai raid today. It took some time, but the Pros finally learned where they were keeping Eri. And without being in on it myself, that knowledge took me even longer to acquire.

I left the 1A dorm in my full hero outfit, quickly making my way to the dumpsters nearby. "Mei should've stashed it somewhere around here." I thought aloud. Moving aside a large trash bag, I found what I was looking for. It was a dark grey backpack positively loaded to the gills. Putting it on my back, I made for the UA exit, before anyone else was up.

Nearly an hour later, I watched with binoculars from a nearby roof. The Hassaikai compound was calling to me.

"I'm coming, Eri

"I'm coming, Eri. Just hold on a little longer." I swore.

"Surely, you're not going alone?" a familiar voice said. Jumping in surprise, I rapidly turned to meet who had followed me.
