Y/N POV:

I stood in the common area of the 1A dormitory. Bakugo and I each had one day remaining of our house arrest. But it was still morning, so first, we would have to get through today. Thankfully, a familiar face had arrived, serving as a nice change of pace. "Hey listen, thanks again, Mei, for coming all the way out to our dorm, here. I know that it's rare for you to even leave the Support Course workshop." I said, gratefully. Mei sat nearby on one of the green couches. She was examining the rocket boots I had made and first utilized days earlier.

"No problem. You know me. Power Loader pretty much lets me get away with anything." Mei joked.

"Yeah, no kidding. Last time I saw you in person, you literally blew up part of his workshop." I recalled, astounded.

"Speaking of the workshop, when are you gonna pick up that other gear I've designed for you? It's just been collecting dust at this point." Mei said.

"I'm now fairly certain of the direction I want to move in, when it comes to combat. So, probably pretty soon. Also...what? Are you just not going to ask about me getting into a fight or my house arrest?" I asked, half unsure.

"Honestly didn't think anything of it. You're on house arrest? I just thought you were feeling really lazy today and didn't make it into class." Mei replied, uncaring.

"Yeah, thought so. One thing I can confidently say, is that I understand you pretty well, Mei." I said, crossing my arms.

"Okay, well, I'm gonna head back to the workshop and get these boots of yours armored up." Mei stated, standing up.

"Remember, carbon fiber is the best option, if you've got it. The stuff is both lightweight and strong." I reminded.

"Yeah, yeah. You know who you're talking to. I got this!" Mei said, confidently. She picked up the two rocket boots from the coffee table and headed out. In the kitchen area, nearby, Bakugo stood preparing some kind of meal for his breakfast.

"I'm sure you realize that Teach would have your ass if he knew you were inviting people over to the dorm during your house arrest." Bakugo said, cutting something.

"Is that a threat?" I said, surprised.

"No, dumbass! It's a warning! The UA faculty probably have cameras on every building! Do you really want to be stuck here even longer?!" Bakugo ranted, angrily.

'What do you know. Seems he is capable of at least a little sympathy.' I thought. Before I could respond, my phone had begun ringing in my pocket. Once again, I would be occupied from doing my chores, for a moment. "Saved by the bell." I muttered.

"Hey, kid, how's it going?" Snipe said, over the phone. I nearly dropped it in surprise.

"Snipe! I've been trying to call the hospital, lately, but they wouldn't let me through!" I said.

"Yeah, I know. Trying to do anything you want to do is a huge pain around here. Doctors really just want you to lay in bed, heal, and eat their shitty hospital food." Snipe replied.

"It's great to hear from you. It's been awhile since the Forest Training Camp. How are you healing up?" I asked, concerned.

"As I'm sure you know, I had certain injuries that limited Recovery Girl's ability to heal me. So, I've been mostly doing that the old fashioned way." Snipe explained.

"I can't imagine how tedious it must feel. I messed up my hand the other day... I'm not sure what I would've done if Recovery Girl hadn't helped me out." I said. As I spoke, I looked my freshly healed hand over. One could never tell that I'd repeatedly punched a concrete wall with it.
