RJ's POV
Monday at school I got ready for dance class. The boys from the males class would be joining us for the second part. We didn't know what we were doing with them yet. Apparently Noah was in that class. Yipee. Note my sarcasm. It's not that I didn't like my mate. Cause I did. But lately I've been feeling like he's hiding something. Plus, just because he was my mate didn't mean I wanted to be with him 24/7 like I probably should.
When I reached the classroom the dance teacher was waiting for me, as were a few of the girls.
"Hey, Radiance!" They all said in unison. Stephanie just stood there glaring at me. I flipped her the bird while the teacher wasn't looking and walked over to the teacher.
"Hey, what are we doing with the boys group today?" I asked her. I was really curious.
"I'll tell you when their class gets here. Patience, my dear." She smiled.
A few minutes later the guys came into the dance room. A few wolf whistles rang out around the room since the girls were only in booty shorts and crop tops or sports bras, like me. The guys only wore sweatpants and no shirts.
"Okay, okay! Listen up, boys and girls!" Our teacher yelled above the noise. Everyone immediately shut up. "Mr Terroid and I think we should join our classes together." Cheers of agreement came. "The first thing we will be doing together is you and your partner of our choice will choreograph a dance. It can be do any song you wish."
"Listen as we read out your partners." Mr Terroid says. "Julia and Mason, Andrew and Olivia, Stephanie and John..." He reads out. Once he read out most of the name and I realised that Noah and I were the only two left I cringed. "Noah and Radiance. Go to your partners. The rest of the lessons will be you choosing your song."
I look over to Noah to see him grinning his head off. If his smile stretched anymore it was sure to come off his face. Cause that would be attractive. Note my sarcasm.
"Noah! Are you going to spend the whole lesson drooling over me or are you going to come here and help me do this?" I tease. Snickers and chuckles rang out through the room and Noah blushed--actually blushed!--before snapping out of his haze and walking over to me muttering about how he wasn't drooling. Whatever floats your boat, hun.
"What song do you want to do?" He asks when he reaches me.
"I'm thinking 'Love the way you lie' feat Eminem." The song sort of fits. The other two nights ago Noah went out with friends. During the middle of the night i received a massive amount of pain that wouldnt stop. Noah came back the next day in the afternoon with a massive hangover. I'd passed the pain off as period pain.
"Sounds cool." He shrugs. "But, why that song?"
"I like it." I state simply and walk off to some friends.
Later that day when we got home to the pack house, Noah and I went to his gym in the basement to practice our dance.
"So, any ideas how to start it?" He asks.
"I reckon we should listen to the song first before we do anything. Get a feel of it and then go from there. What do you think?" I ask him.
"Yeah, we'll do that." He replies giving me a kiss on the cheek.
So that's what we did. We listen to the song a couple of times and on the third time I get an idea of what to do for the chorus. Once we practice my idea Noah got an idea that we should go each have an individual verse where we did our own thing. I agreed and we found some things we could add into the dance.
When we finished practicing the song for the third time, we laid on the ground, sucking in the breath that we lost from dancing.
"I rekcon that's good." Noah says after a few minutes of laying on the floor.
"Yeah and if we want to change it up a little over the week, we can." I reply as I get up to leave.
"Wait." Noah says as I'm about to open the door that leads to the stairs.
Noah rolls on his stomach to look at me, his brown eyes peeking out from underneath his tousled hair. "Lay with me. I want to just have you next to me for a bit. Please?" He whispers.
I nod and go to him. One way or another, I was going to find out what he wasnt telling me.
